I recently received a ban on my OkCupid account for apparently breaching their terms of service/community guidelines. I know I havent breached them. I treat everyone with respect, and typically if I decide Im not interested in a match I just unmatch them. I have never breached the conduct rules on the website. The site is however very infested with fake accounts, particularly with crypto scammers. And off platform I have called out many scammers. I am very adamant about reporting them on the site as well if they are still matched. I think I was reported as revenge due to my diligence in that regard.Business Response

I dedicated a significant amount of time to using their apps, forming meaningful friendships along the way. However, I was unexpectedly banned despite not violating any terms or conditions. I suspect this may be due to their algorithm mistakenly flagging me because I have an identical twin brother who also uses the app. It might have incorrectly assumed we were operating multiple profiles, or perhaps matches reported us under this misunderstanding. Good afternoon,My name is ****** ***** and I am from around the **********, ** region and I purchased a 6 month subscription to match.com on Sunday 3/16/2025. I was having difficulties with my card at the time and had 3 failed payments that I was charges with. I was able to successfully use my other card for the purchase but my one credit card is charged with the 3 false payments totaling over $500. I did make 2 attempts (3/16 and yesterday afternoon) already through email asking for my credit card to be reimbursed and match.com has refused to issue me a refund as well as respond to my email. I should have at this point been refunded as I do not wish to spend up to $700 for a 6 month service (6month service is $171). I demand for this to be resolved and my money refunded!!!!You will see that the charges do show as pending but I have confirmation from the bank that they have been approved and are scheduled to be posted to my account within a day or so. I matched with a lady on hinge a few months ago. She has kids but dont believe she mentioned that on her profile. Once we got to talking outside of hinge (text message) she advised me that she has 3 kids. Which I wasnt interested in or looking for. I told her exactly that which then got her mad for some reason, even though weve only started talking that same day. Before I blocked her number she mentioned about reporting me, a couple hours later my hinge account got banned. Not sure what she mentioned but, the appeal process from hinge doesnt not work.
