      I have been a member of Black People Meet and Match off and on for years. I recently joined both. I also renewed my subscription to Match for an additional 3 months, but decided to remove my profile for a while, but that option is no longer there, so I deactivated knowing that I still had 3 months thinking that I could get a refund. The very next day I went to the site to log on and it had me locked out. I tried to reset my password, but I never received an email. I tried several times, and then finally I received an email suggesting that I check my spam, trash, and promotions tab. I checked all 3, but never received a reset password. I find it ironic that I received the email telling me what to look for, but never received a reset password email. Match seems to take advantage of people who are truly looking for love. I have spent quite a bit of money on these sites, and its sad that they treat people so poorly. I would like a refund for both sites.

      I was banned from the app for no apparent reason. I recieved a message from a disturbed person who claimed they would report my profile simply because I rejected them. My profile was banned/terminated very shortly after.

      On August 6th I purchased a new subscription. On August 8th while using the app I had login problems and after several attempts to login i got a notice that I was banned. I have used the app for over 5 years without incident. I have clearly read all terms of conduct and I have not violated anything. Support refuses to look into issue and provide any information as to why banned. I was banned in error 2 days into an one year subscription. I request delivery of services or details on what was violated per the terms. I respectfully just want to be a customer but nobody will accept the fact that bots make mistakes also.

      I started an account on 8/5/23. I was online for a few hours, had verified the account through my email and logged in via my appleID. There were no crass, inappropriate information or pictures on my account, nor in any private messages. Within hours, my account was banned and despite 5 email exchanges with them on this issue, they refuse to tell me why specifically my account has been banned or how to appeal. They repeat that my account has been banned bc it violated their terms of service or community guidelines, but refuse to say which one(s), how, or how to get this decision reviewed. They have failed to demonstrate any instance where I have violated their terms of service and given me no information as to how to get this appealed or reviewed.

      I am rejecting this response because the business insists on saying I violated their terms of service with no explanation of how they have determined this fact and what specific terms of service or community guideline was broken and how. This is an arbitrary decision with no explanation of any facts and the company insists on simply restating over and over that a term or guideline was broken. This account was in no way violating their terms of service or their community guidelines and to claim it was and to refuse to review, explain, and refund the subscription fee is a gross overreach of the company's power and not in keeping with the very community they claim in their own guidelines to be protecting.

      After moving to a new city, i decided i wanted to try to use hinge. Everything was going pretty well, i was a subscribed user and making good connections through the app. I was then removed from the app with no warning. I dont think i didnt anything to deserve a ban and I think it was an unfair ban. I have tried contacting hinge through their support but they do not respond. I would really like to be back on the app as it was a good tool to meet people in a new city
