      Ive recently turned to his to get back into the dating at the end of relationship using the app was great. The experience was great, but then one day I went to the app as usual to have a conversation and I got a pop-up of me being banned and I dont understand why because Ive had nothing but innocent and, genuine conversations with everybody I talk to on that app so for me to be banned for anything its just ridiculous and he has yet to give me a proper reason on why I have been banned or any proof on what I did to be banned so basically just feel like Im being banned for nothing because I have no idea what is going on or what I did so Im fine as complaint to hopefully get some answers and give me unplanned because I havent done anything at all and if if I have, Ill gladly take full accountability, but like I said, Im on an app to just date and find the love of my life

      Using my email address ********************* i had been signed up to hinge for a number of years. I always complied with the terms of service and was always respectfull. I use the app to make friends and date all around the world. I recently was a victim of identity theft, where my email, phone number and bank accounts were all compromised and hacked. Around the same time i was banned from hinge with no explaination, and my appeal was denied so i imagine it has something to do with the identity theft. I have reached out to them multiple times and recieved no responses or assistance. I would like this looked into and hopefully my account reinstated.

      I was banned on Hinge in February, I believe I was wrongfully taken down as a fake account when the account was accurately me, as I go by my middle name ********* frequently (the name the account was under). I appealed and remained banned with no explanation. I had no issues with any of my matches, no reason I can genuinely think that I wouldve gotten banned for otherwise. Thank you

      I have been a loyal and paying customer of ********************, consistently subscribing to their highest subscription tier. I have always been satisfied with the service and truly appreciated the people Hinge has allowed me to meet, never having had a bad experience. Recently, however, my account was banned, and I believe this was due to an automatic word recognition error. During a friendly conversation where a user complimented me, I used the word booty in a lighthearted response. The conversation was not of any graphic nature.Approximately 20 minutes after this message, I attempted to log into my account and was notified that I had been banned. I immediately tried to appeal the decision, but I seemingly received an automatic response that did not address my specific situation.Hinge is allowing me to submit another appeal through the app, but unfortunately, when I attempt to do so, the app starts glitching and repeatedly says the action could not be performed. Ive been unable to submit my appeal due to this technical issue. I believe the ban was unfair and caused by an automated system error.I would like the opportunity to use the Hinge app again, subscribe, and continue giving Hinge my business. I am requesting a review of my case and for my account to be reinstated.

      Thank you for your response and for providing additional information regarding my appeal. While I appreciate that Hinge has a process in place for reviewing appeals and that these decisions are not automated, I still believe that my ban was unfair and may have been the result of a misunderstanding or miscommunication. I have always valued the platform and the connections Ive made, and I would very much like to continue using Hinge.

      I understand and respect Hinges policies and want to assure you that, if given the opportunity, I will fully adhere to all the rules and guidelines moving forward. I believe my previous behavior was consistent with Hinges standards, and I sincerely hope for another chance to prove that my intent was never to misuse the platform.

      Today 10/2/2024 my hinge profile was banned and removed by ***************. There were no stated reasons other than breach of terms and service. No specifics were provided. Upon repeal request I was denied and the ban upheld(after all of 3 minutes of review). I did not breach any terms or service or codes of conduct. If they have the data to support they can provide it which they have not done for me personally. I am not looking for monetary reimbursement but reinstatement of the account and an apology for wasting my time and also damaging my reputation with other matches.

      I am rejecting this response because: There is no proof and absolutely no way the appeal was vetted by a human when the response came back within 3 minutes. Hinge and ********* are a trash organization and company. Not being able to state why someone was banned is just criminal and I am sure many other banned users feel the same.

      Account was wrongfully banned. I never knowingly violated the Hinge ToS and my account was banned and my appeal was denied. I dont have many options when it comes to meeting new people and not having access to Hinge ever again is a pretty severe punishment. I dont have any ill will towards the company, Id just like to know what I did wrong so that I dont do it again and I would like my account reinstated. No one is perfect and I ask for forgiveness for whatever it is that I have done.

      I am sorry. I am not a perfect person and I may have sent things that were not right. I use your app a lot and there are some days that are more stressful than others, where I might not have shown restraint with my words. Looking back, I could understand if it may have violated your terms of service.

      My actions were wrong and I will make sure to be more vigilant and careful with what I say on your app in the future.

      I ask that my account be reinstated because it is the only way I have to meet new people and I am asking you for ***** in this matter. This banning serves as a strong warning, and a wake up call.

      Hi, My name is ****** or Zeyna. I have been using Hinge on and off for the last 2 years. I recently went to ****** in August and my location changed on the app. Someone falsely reported me and had my account removed without any evidence claiming that I wasnt a real person. Even though Ive gone on several dates and met up with people while using Hinge. I have appealed with Hinge, sent out emails and even submitted my ID proving that I am who I say. They have done nothing to help me get my account back and are telling me to wait for an update. I would like your help in getting my account back because I genuinely do love using the app and have met great people on there.

      On the 2nd of October started a new account under my phone number ************* and email ********************* I hadnt finished my profile I was up to uploading my photos and had to pause my profile creation I was going to continue the next day. I recieved an email on the same day that my account had been removed and banned, I appealed and on the 3rd of October my appeal was found unsuccessful through an automated response and was banned, without stating how I had violated its terms. I dont see how I could violated terms when I had not finished my profile or activated it. I feel that the action taken against my account was done in a way that did not allow me do defend myself, and had caused mental distress, I would as hinge to reconsider my removal and let me back on the platform.       I have reviewed the business response and accept this resolution. Also they contacted me personally and opened my account again.  As feed back Hinge only responds when a complaint is made to the bbb.
