      I was banned from Hinge and was given no explanation or reason. After months of using the app without any issue, I tried to appeal the ban, and figure out what I did wrong; but was not given an explanation and was still banned. I just want to use the app again; whatever I did wrong, I will gladly change. I just had no opportunity to do so, and it doesn't seem very right or just of them to ban, without warning or reason. I honestly suspect this was an error. I've not once received any warnings from Hinge that I ever violated any Hinge Terms of Service. I used the app for months without issue like I said. I would greatly appreciate another chance on the app. I think it is unpleasant business practice to treat customers the way Hinge treated me and probably other people as well.

      I was a paying subscriber on Hinge and paid $99 for a 6 month plan I started back in mid December of 2022. This morning I tried to log into my account and it said that my account has been removed because I have violated their guidelines. I had used Hinge for a few years but did not since early 2021 when I began a serious relationship and never had one issue. I never violated their guidelines nor acted in any bad manner to any other users. A few weeks back I decided to get back onto Hinge and created an account as I thought I needed to after over 18 months off of it. Since I began using hinge a few short weeks ago I have conducted myself in the best manner possible and have not been disrespectful to anyone, have not been harrsssing, nor have violated any other guidelines. However, on January 9th I encountered a female user who began to make Anti Semitic and prejudice comments towards the Jewish people and many harsh stereotypes very quickly into our conversation so for the first time ever I decided to report this person just so that Hinge was aware of this and so that this person could not do this harm to anyone else. Then all of a sudden I receive a ban only after I report this behavior to them. This is not right and unjust that they did not take this rhetoric of hate seriously which they have proof of in the conversation on their app. I did nothing wrong and never violated their guidelines and never was rude or harassing towards anyone for the years I used it. I tried to send an appeal and they still did not consider reinstating me or giving a valid reason even thought I mentioned that I was only banned right after I reported someone else for hate speech against Jewish people. I am asking that they look into this thoroughly so they can see that I have never done any wrong in my time as a subscriber so I can be reinstated. I would hope that hinge would've appreciated me bringing that hate speech to their attention, not banning me after it. Please help me, thanks

      I was incorrectly banned from using the Hinge app despite my profile not violating any terms of service or community guidelines. I submitted an appeal and got a seemingly automated response that the ban was final with zero explanation of why. I don't have anything explicit, illegal, etc in my profile at all. Having reviewed my interactions with users, I believe this was unjust, and the company made no attempt to resolve the process. In the past, I have paid for the app, and I feel this is highly unacceptable.

      Hi,I have recently been banned on Hinge's application during the week of January 1st, 2023, without receiving clear reasons for my ban. I have been appropriately and respectfully using the Hinge application for approximately three years while always adhering to their Community Guidelines and Terms of Service. Apart from one instance, where some of my friends had taken my phone to sift through my application, I have always treated others in a very considerate and respectful manner. This has been very frustrating as I have filed an appeals request with Hinge, however I did not receive any meaningful review other than what seems like an automated response (request #******* for reference).       My name is ******. I had a Hinge dating account with the phone number listed here. I respectfully appealed a ban placed on my account to no success. I had my account deactivated for 2 months and when I logged on I was banned 2 days ago 1/09. I don't know why I was banned and I am hoping whatever you can do can get me unbanned. I don't believe I ever violated the Hinge terms of service and if I ever did it was completely unintentional. They said the banning was due to the violation in which I don't believe occurred.       Hinge banned me from their service and when contacted for a reason for the ban, they have never replied. I've tried to appeal the ban as well to get a better understanding of what happened, yet no reply. All I've gotten after submitting an appeal through the correct channel was that they received the appeal and will get back to me with a decision. This was over 6 months ago. I've emailed once to ask for an update, only to receive nothing to this day.

      Hello,I am reaching out regarding a ban that I received from Hinge **** They have not clarified what part of their terms of service I have broken. I believe the ban appeal *** have been automatical denied and my case was not investigated. I have spent roughly $60 with the service over the past year. I believe there was a mix up as I have not knowingly broken any of their terms or services. I would just like to be reinstated to the service that I paid for.       - Dates of Transactions: June 28, 2022 - January 4, 2023.- Amount of money paid to *********** LLC: $693.48 -Services promised to provide: Hinge exists to help our users find love. We do that by setting up great dates.-Dispute: Hinge said that I had violated their terms of service and was therefore banned. However, I was not notified of which terms of service I violated. According to the ban, "Your account has been removed. You've been banned from using Hinge for violating our Terms of Service." I believe I was reported by another user who was upset that I liked one of her prompts. Her prompt read "A fact that surprises people about me is that I am mentally unstable." She then messaged me "There wasn't anything else on my profile you could have liked". I saw the message while I was at work and I was thinking of a response because I realized she was offended. I thought she was making light of it by putting it in her profile. See I am also mentally unstable. I am a recovering drug addict. I've been sober for 3 months now and I like to make light of the situation because I know some people are afraid of discussing it.Resolution: I submitted an appeal to Hinge explaining the situation above and I received an email 2 minutes later stating "Our team has reviewed your appeal request and confirmed that you are in violation of our Terms of Service and our Community Guidelines. Therefore your account will remain banned. This decision is informed and final and subsequent appeals will not be considered." They also stated "Please understand that this decision came as a result of careful review of your appeal description, any reports on your account, consideration from our content moderation team and human review of any automated decision making that *** have contributed to your ban" It seems incredibly unlikely that someone actually read my appeal, went over to my account read through all of my prompts/conversations, and then sent a decision in a total of 2 minutes.
