I was contacted by this company for a medical bill. The problem is they're saying I don't have insurance. I do, and good insurance at that. I also am having trouble finding out what the bill is for, what services are being charged, and any other info. I would love for them to actually contact me so I can give them my insurance and have it billed correctlyBusiness Response

EMBCC is charging me an exorbitant $1,015.00 without any explanation or itemized receipt. On May 30, 2025, I visited Advent Health, but I was discharged just 10 minutes later after refusing treatment. I was informed of the risks, signed a release, and that was the end of the story. No one provided any service during my short visit. I contacted Advent Health, and even they couldnt explain why anyone would charge such a ridiculous amount. I want this matter closed now as is affecting my peace of mind, in the event that they want to continue with the charges I want name of the *** and an itemized receipt of all the alleged services received by me that day.Business Response

I was seen at the ***************** in ******, ** on 12/17/2024 for injuries related to a hit and run wreck. My car insurance company has accepted 1000% of coverage for this incident. I began receiving billing statements from ****** Emergency Physicians in ******, ** 4 months later. The first was a form requesting all this information, that the hospital already had on file, that I filled out and mailed into them. Then I receive another statement stating that I could go online and fill out all same informatiom already submitted to them, which I spent over an hour filling out, and once again, all the same information already submitted to them, and submitted it online. Now I am still receiving billing statements wanting payment from me for services that are covered by my insurance. I pay almost $600.00 a month for insurance and am not going to pay for anything that is covered by my insurance. I dont understand how the hospital and other providers have had no trouble billing my insurance and getting paid and yet I continue to be harassed for this one bill. I have done more than I ever should have been required to do and its like they just cant figure it out. I have submitted and resubmitted all the information they have requested and yet still I receive harassing billing statements. This provider has ALL the necessary information they need to clear this up once and for all and quit harassing me about it but it seems they would rather harass me than to do their job. They have not even attempted to contact my insurance even though they have everything they need to get this matter taken care of. I just dont understand why this so-called company is so inept in doing their job and yet continue to harass me about this matter. This is not even a matter of whether the provider is in network. This is being covered by auto insurance not private medical coverage. I have done everything asked of me and want this settled immediately and my name cleared of these charges.Business Response

This company is not properly submitting health insurance claims to the patient's requisite insurance company before threatening collection action and payment in full. The patient is unable to communicate wiht thi compnay to resubmit the claim to their insurnace company. The patient confirms their health insurance company has not received the claims yet EMBCC refuses to resubmit the claim for processing insurance and fraudulently instead only gives the option online for setting up a payment plan for a claim that has not been processed by the insurance company.Business Response

On March 13, 2025, I was arrested for a DUI in *************, IN and I was sober with the breathalyzer showing a BAC of 0.00. The officer forced me to take a blood test using "implied consent" with a threat of my license may be suspended for two years should I not consent to a blood test. The hospital where the blood test was drawn is the ******************* in *************, IN and they gave me a charity deduction for their services. Then not long after, I get a bill from EMBCC Patient Services for $810, which I cannot afford. The latest letter I received today and it is a final notice or they will send the bill off to collections. Since the blood was drawn against my will, they need to send this bill to the ******************************* and make them pay for it. I had contacted them and told them I am about to file complaints with both the BBB and the ***** The person on the phone has told me they cannot send a bill to a police department and if I were to send the letter from ******************* of the charity credit, they would honour it. I then took a screenshot of the bill on MyChart but when I got on their website, there was no where to post the image.Business Response

On 11/18/2023, I experienced post-surgical bleeding from my throat. My mom called 911 and an ambulance picked me up and took me to *******************. I provided my health insurance card at the time of service. I am aware of three separate bills on this date of service: 1) Amerigroup EMS for the ambulance ride; (2) *******************; and 3) The ** doctor (Dr. ******** I provided my insurance card and that information was used by all three of the providers above. ********** and ******************* successfully billed my insurance, Cigna + ****** for my treatment. It is very strange that only the ** ******* *** was provided with the same insurance card, was unable to **** Cigna + ***** for my treatment. After multiple phone calls to ***, Cigna + ****** ********* Group, and EMBCC (the ****** for Dr. ******** I learned that Dr. ****** attempted to **** ***** (instead of Cigna + *****) for my treatment on 1/09/2024. ***** gave Cigna + ***** a courtesy notice that they attempted to bill them for my treatment. Cigna + ***** sent a statement to Dr. ******** ****** on 1/13/2024 that contained all the necessary information to **** Cigna + *****. EMBCC admitted that they did not **** Cigna + ***** as they should have and agreed to do so even though the timely filing period had passed. A representative named ***** reached out to EMBCC and provided me with the following info on March 13, 2025: "After looking into your account I found a denied claim, Z325BYBD, for ******** ****** (********* Emergency Group) for an amount $796. You cannot see this claim as it was never sent to Cigna+Oscar for processing. It looks like it is a notation from our partner, *****, *** received this claim 1/9/2024 and denied it as you not being a member. We can see it in our system as ***** sends a heads up to Cigna+Oscar." I attached a screenshot from my Cigna + ***** account showing that I do not owe anything for this claim.Business Response

Im already under the poverty line I dont make this much money in 6 months.Business Response

I was never sent medical bills. I got collections call for a lousy ******. There are three Dr's that don't know how to do their jobs at ********************** in ******. Dr **** ******, Dr ****** , Dr ****** *******.They have been sending bills to my address from 2 years ago!!. I never got a bill until the collections people called. I have perfect credit my whole life (58). I want to sue all three dr's, the billing department or whoever else is responsible for this debacle of theirs. EMB CC BILLING IS DOING BILLING. good luck with them being a call center from a 3rd world country. It makes no sense, since ********************** can somehow manage to send the to the right Fing address!!!Business Response

My son received ER services at a local hospital in 2023. I paid the bill for services to the hospital within a few months. On April 30, 2025 EMBCC sent a bill for doctor services rendered at the original hospital visit in 2023. After talking with the hospital, insurance, and EMBCC representatives, I still have no understanding why it took 2 whole years for a bill to be filed. There should be time limits for these claims.Business Response
