I wish it could have been ZERO STARS. This company gains business by implementing deceptive practices. The ****** search is designed to make it look like you're dealing directly with the hotel. They generate excessive fees using sleight-of-hand tactics. I don't mind "Priceline" Partner Solutions making money, but don't do it deceptively. Tell people you're charging a huge fee, tell them you're not affiliated with the hotel. And Priceline Partner Solutions, if you're really providing a valuable service and you want repeat business, allow people a cancellation window. If you need some help figuring it out read all your reviews!

When booking rooms at Tru by ******, I got the phone number from the internet and thought I was booking straight to the hotel. I accidently booked the non refundable room with Book a Room. When we had a major life change of plans, I tried to cancel the reservation 13 days prior to time. I offered to pay the difference in price of refundable and non-refundable room rates. But was told this was not going to happen. My advice is to make sure you deal directly with the hotel not this booking site.

I recently reserved a hotel for my sons soccer tournament and was explicitly shown that I could cancel until July 30. Since we hadnt received the tournament schedule yet, I wasnt sure we would need the first night so the cancellation policy was important. While booking, the website froze and refreshed, saying the reservation time was no longer available. Despite this, my bank was charged, and the hotel confirmed a reservation existed. However, I received no confirmation email or booking number, and the hotel confirmed that no email was tied to the reservation meaning I had no way to manage or cancel the booking. Because it was booked through Priceline and I had no reservation number, the hotel couldnt help me ********** make matters worse, Priceline has no way to look up a reservation without a booking number, and their automated phone system kept hanging up on me. When I finally reached a real person, they told me the reservation was nonrefundable unless I could provide a screenshot of the cancellation policy shown before booking which, of course, I dont have.Theyre now charging me the full amount (nearly $900) whether or not I stay even though the site showed a free cancellation window when I booked. This websites system is broken and sets customers up to fail. There is zero accountability when something goes wrong. Dont risk booking through them especially for time-sensitive or expensive travel. Ill be warning others everywhere I can.

DOUBLE CHECK THE WEBSITE YOU'RE BOOKING THROUGH!I "thought" I was booking direct with Hampton Inn & booked 4 nights for an employee of ours working out of town. When our job finished after one day, we tried to cancel the remaining nights. We only then realized that the room had been booked through this SCAM site. I called and spoke to a gentleman who was absolutely no help, no refunds allowed. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BOOK USING THIS SITE!

Would leave zero star if possible. Upon arrival to the hotel, we were informed of broken a/c, 95 degrees in the room. Hotel cancelled reservation due to this and now this company is just reading the script and not refunding money. Have called credit card company and disputing charges. They are frauds and cheats

I booked 2 hotel reservations through a website that was designed to look like I was booking directly through the hotel that I Googled (The * *********)That website is actually a 3rd party website unrelated to the hotel designed to scam people out of their money. What they do is pay ****** to put their website at the top of the list when The * ********* is *******. They then put "GUEST RESERVATIONS" in their website address to make you believe you're booking through the hotel. They list a price for the room rate per night $26.52 (times 2 nights) = $53.04 plus taxes and fees $38.95 for a total of $91.99 They don't list the fact that the resort fee for the hotel is charged by the hotel $45.14 per night ($90.28 total) is still due upon arrival. The resort fee is mentioned in the confirmation email. Which I received after booking. I immediately called the booking company, which I later learned is called m.getaroom.com to cancel reservations. Their cancellation policy states that if you cancel after midnight of the day prior to booking, you are entitled to no refund at all. Fortunately I cancelled immediately. Less than 40 minutes after booking. They told me their refund policy is also that they charge 1 night fee plus taxes and fees ($42.23) for cancelling. Since I booked 2 separate rooms, that's a total of $84.46 for both rooms. After doing some research, I found that this company getaroom.com has been scamming many people and providing ZERO service. They intentionally lead you to believe you're booking through the hotel, put you in a timer, hide the resort fees, and take enormous cancellation fees.I cancelled both rooms because of the shady, scam like business practices of getaroom com.

I thought I was booking directly with the Hyatt site. It seems I was booking through a page that looked just like it that was associated with Getaroom. I called the ***** asking for a confirmation email and they said they had no record of me booking, but that it was done through Priceline. I called Priceline and they said they had no record of me booking, either. So I checked my credit card statement. The phone number listed for the charge went to Getaroom. I tried putting in my information to look up my reservation and there was nothing. Then I read that this has been done to many others as well. So now I'm out $1400 AND have no hotel room because of this scam. Will be calling my bank.

They make it appear you are booking directly through the hotel, do NOT advise as to fees being charged until after booked a noncancwllae, and then do not break out. Was charged over 33% on top of entire bill, tried to tell me part of the additional fees went to hotel sanitation etc., however I got a copy of reservation from hot el and not accurate. Called within Mo utes of making reservation was on hold for over a half hour and only able to get canned response. Buyer be ware. Would have given 0 stars if possible. Total scam.
