    In April 2020, Getaroom.com cooperated with BBB's 2019 request that the business adequately address a concerning pattern of BBB consumer complaints. At the time, the company communicated actions that it would take, or had already taken, to prevent similar complaints in the future. In response, BBB agreed to monitor the company's BBB complaints for up to a year. The monitoring and review were completed April 26, 2021.


    Among BBB's complaint review was a concerning pattern of complaints alleging Getaroom.com uses deceptive online advertising practices, as well as telephone customer service interactions, that lead consumers to believe they are interacting directly with a particular hotel's staff when they are trying to reserve a room. Consumers often claim they were unaware that they were interacting with a third-party until after they have been charged by Getaroom.com.


    After conducting a review of GetARoom.com's most recent BBB complaints, BBB determined the allegations, and overall concerning pattern of complaints, persist.

      So here is why I give the company a bad review and hopefully stir anyone else from ever using them ever. We had a hotel room book for us by a family friend for a night. Needless to say the hotel was not up to pair for anyone to be staying at what so ever. It smelled of urine stuff was run down and or broken. There was seemed to be some *** trafficking happening at this location and drugs. So there was no way in h*** we were staying there. So we went ahead and booked an extra day at the hotel we were planning on staying at in different area all together. With all that said even though the hotel was in horrible condition the company refuses to refund your money. Even going through BBB to make it right they will not refund at all what so ever. What makes things worse is the person who paid for our room was in the hospital that week. So it put her in a bind and even telling them that they do not care what so ever. Take it from me look at using different platforms that one will get out bad locations like this one. And two stand behind what they are selling you. If they promise a good night sleep that also means it should feel safe not c*** anything else like that. Stay clear of this site use a different one.
