I searched tickets for the improv in **********. I was directed to ticket *********. I made the purchase then looked at some reviews about ticket *********. I then called the Improv. They said that 3rd party ticket were not honered at the door. So basically I paid for tickets to an event I cant even get into. I called ticket ********* to cancel my order & the recording said all sales were final and couldnt be cancelled. I called my credit card company to report fraud. They said the charge of ****** was still pending, so I wouldnt be able to dispute it until it posts.

I purchased this ticket after searching on ******, ****************, ************, *****, *****The top hit was listed as ****************. I bought the ticket and was surprised that $150 of the $200.07 was service charges. On on May 8, 2025, I called ticketsales.com and, after many tries and a very long wait, I asked for a refund because:1) They made their site look like you were buying tickets directly.2) The **** Theater does not guarantee admission for tickets bought through 3rd parties.3) They charged scalping rates of $150 over the $50 ticket price. They would not refund the money and said that they guaranteed the ticket would be valid.I flew from the ********** to ************** today and visited the theater before the start of the play, where I showed them my ticket. The ticket is issued to ****** ******, and the **************** does not permit ticket transfers. As such, I had to purchase another ticket. There are numerous complaints against the vendor, which align with the reasons provided above.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At Ticket Sales, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers concerns. It should be noted that Ticket Sales is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.

Once our customer selected the event they were interested in, Twelve Angry Men, they navigated to the ticket listing page. The top of this page clearly notifies customers, We are a leading resale marketplace. Tickets may be above or below face value. We are not affiliated with any venue. This message is also displayed on the top of every page throughout the checkout process. After customers select the ticket listing and ticket quantity, they desired they are directed to the checkout page. Here customers are provided with an order summary on the right-hand side that displays the event details, ticket location, and listing information. Our customer was prompted to provide an email address and select a delivery method. After a delivery method was selected, since methods vary in price, a new order total was calculated. A complete itemized breakdown of our customers order including the price per ticket, all fees, and the total price of $200.07 was displayed in bold text on the right-hand side of the page. This information is fully disclosed before our customers are asked to enter any payment information. Below this order summary is a disclosure stating: Please note: We are a secondary marketplace, not the primary seller. Ticket prices may exceed face value. Finally, at the bottom of the checkout screen the customer was shown our terms stating, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $200.07 which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final." Our customer then used the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase, at which time their order was processed. It should also be noted, tickets for our customer's event were transferred to the email address they provided during checkout on 6/20/25 at 12:14 PM CST.

Since our customers are purchasing tickets owned and listed by individual resellers, we must ensure that our policies are fair to both parties. This means that we are unable to offer refunds and must adhere to an all sales are final policya standard throughout the industry. Prior to receiving this claim we thoroughly discussed this matter with our customer to address all of their concerns. In addition to this current claim, our customer has filed a dispute with their financial institution regarding this transaction. Due to the nature of the dispute process, we are unable to provide any further resolution to this matter while this dispute remains open and encourage our customer to contact their financial institution with any questions regarding its process or outcome. As it currently stands, we consider this matter closed.

********* ticket sales website portending to be the venue itself. Business model based entirely on tricking people out of their money. Disgusting. We were charged $500 for three tickets which should have been $120. Immediately called to cancel and was told "it's been longer than 15 minutes, sorry."Evil, disgusting people

I am rejecting this response because:

I informed the company that I preferred communication over email because I want a written record of everything. They respond and say they understand and that someone will call me, which hasn't happened. They do not need to speak to me over the phone to issue a refund.

I also spoke with the box office manager at the venue in question. Ticketsales violated the terms and agreements of the purchase which clearly states the purchaser agrees not to resell the tickets for more than $10 over face value. Because the terms were violated, the box office invalidated the tickets.

On Sunday June 17th I went onto cuthbert amphitheater website to buy zz top tickets. I clicked on zz top and was re directed to a website to buy tickets to ******** for the zz top concert. After I purchased tickets I had a weird feeling I was scammed because it made me buy one ticket then again bought 1 more ticket. It said I couldn't get two tickets. Then I saw at the very end of my confirmation the company I bought from was not the cuthbert. I immediately called on monday morning and wanted to cancel and get a refund. I had emailed the email provided sever times Sunday to cancel as well. I was told all ses are final no refunds. I asked why a misleading sale and price is double what cuthbert charges. I explained I was redirected straightforward cuthberts ticket buying platform and it was misleading. The response was the same. No refunds.

on 4/26/25 I ordered Tickets to A Beauty and Beast Play at Proctors in ******,, **. The total of the tickets was $269.28 for 3 tickets. I was ok with this as It fit the website pricing for tickets in that area,. I went to pay for the tickets. No where did it say or show anything that this was price of 1 ticket. It was very much showing the Total was $269.28. I went to pay for the tickets and once confirmed it said the Total was $******. I was like WHAT?! I Can not afford tickets for this amount. I immediately called the company asking for a refund. That I did not authorized this charge of ******. They were like we are sorry we do not issue any refunds. You have to sell the tickets if you want the money. Today is 6/28/25. The Show is tomorrow 6/29/25 @ 1pm and I have not received tickets at all. I have paid over $800 for tickets I still have not gotten and cant even see the show. I did a Dispute with my ******************* which is ************ They have tried to fight this charge. They are unable to get me the money back as they tell me its this Company's policy not to issue any refunds. *********** told me I needed to contact you the BBB.However I NEVER GOT ANY TICKETS. It should be noted that TicketSales.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. Directly on our website it states, TicketSales.com is a trusted secondary marketplace. Prices set by sellers may be above or below face value.

On 4/26/2025 our customer placed an order for three tickets to Beauty and the Beast at the ****************. After looking at the available tickets they selected a ticket listing for $200.00 per ticket. During our checkout process the detailed order summary displayed on screen informed the customer of their event details, ticket location, and price per ticket. This information was fully disclosed before our customer was asked to enter any payment information. Additionally, the top of every checkout page states: "We are a leading secondary marketplace. Tickets may be above or below face value. We are not affiliated with any venue." After entering their email address and selecting a ticket delivery method the customer entered their payment information. At the bottom of this page and above the "Place Order" button it was stated, "By clicking, Place Order, you agree to the Terms of Use including refund terms and Privacy Policy. You also acknowledge that this site is a resale marketplace and that your credit card will be charged $807.84, which includes ticket, service, and delivery fees. All prices are listed in US Dollars. All sales are final." Finally the customer clicked the "Place Order" button to complete their purchase.

As the customer has stated in their claim, after placing their order the customer opened a dispute with their financial institution regarding their order. Due to the nature of the dispute process the customer's order and ticket access may have been restricted while the dispute was active. Ultimately, the financial dispute, which was facilitated and determined by the customer's financial institution, was closed in merchant favor. Our terms of sale indicate that, "In the event that you instigate a chargeback or dispute, we reserve the right to mitigate our damages by listing the tickets that are disputed for resale." As such, the customer's tickets were resold on their behalf and the customer has been compensated accordingly. In addition, as a courtesy we have also provided our customer a refund of the service charge applied to their order. If the customer has any further questions regarding their dispute, we encourage them to reach out to the financial institution with which it was filed. As this matter was handled in accordance with the terms our customer agreed to when placing their order, we consider this matter closed.

On June 22 2025, I went online to purchase tickets for a musical show at The Iron Horse. The default number of tickets was 5 so I changed that to 2. I then noticed the high cost of the tickets and fees so I clicked on ticket options hoping to see an option to stop by the theater and purchase the tickets in person. The information provided didnt offer any other options than buying from this website so I clicked back to my purchase page where a pop-up told me I only 10 minutes in which to buy these tickets. Feeling some pressure, I clicked on pay and was not taken to a review your purchase screen, as I expected, but to a transaction completed screen. To my consternation, I saw that I was being charged for 5 tickets, not 2: $441.60! (Tickets, I found out afterwards, that cost only $24 at The Iron Horse.) They mustve reverted to the default number of tickets for some reason.I called the company right away and was told that I would not receive a refund, nor would they give me a credit for future shows. This is a non-transparent, misleading website with predatory practices, especially effective, I imagine, with older persons (I am 70) who are not as savvy as young people.

June 10th 2025, I purchased concert tickets through them with an extreme markup the total with taxes and fees was $316.92. They sent two emails stating more information would follow. No further information follows. There's a live chat feature that instantly disconnects from the chat. I made multiple attempts all are the same. The 888 number for the business states the business is not open at this time, and automatically hangs up on me.

Thank you for reaching out to us. At TicketSales.com, we value our customers and would like to take the time to address our customers concerns. It should be noted that TicketSales.com is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate ticketsinstead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers. As such, TicketSales.com does not control the delivery of electronically transferred tickets. Rather, tickets are transferred to our customer directly from the original ticket holder.

In this case tickets for our customer's event were initially delivered to the email address associated with the order shortly after it was confirmed on 6/10/2025. At that time an email with a ticket transfer link was sent to the email address entered by the customer at the time of purchase. We contacted our customer on the day of their event to address any delivery issues they may have still had after filing this claim. We confirmed  the tickets were transferred a second time, and that the correct tickets were sent to the email address provided by the customer. It should be noted that the order in questions has been considered fulfilled and, as it presently stands, we consider this matter closed.
