I leased a 2023 Nissan Rogue and recently purchased a 2024 as the lease ended. I paid every payment and even purchased miles. Now I am getting a liability statement which no company has ever sent me. It states I owe for miles when I can approve I do not. And a disposition fee? What is that? I should not have to pay this as no other company has asked me to do so. Very disappointed.

I am rejecting this response because this is a known Manufacturers defect that impacts safety. Nissan has not provided anything in writing stating that a car that is out of warranty is mandated to go to a Nissan dealership. I was stranded on the side of the road at night time and there were no dealerships open. This is not acceptable. I demand to have a reimbursement for my repair. Thanks for your help.

      Sincerely,

      ***** ******** Nee Leone

Thank you for taking the time to contact Nissan ************* (NNA) and allowing us the opportunity to review *************************** Variable Transmission (CVT) concerns with her 2017 Nissan Rogue. We apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused.

A review of our records shows Mrs. ******** contacted Nissan Consumer Affairs on December 12, 2024, to request reimbursement for CVT repair completed by an Independent Repair Facility (IRF) at ****** miles as the five years / ****** miles Limited Powertrain Warranty had lapsed by ****** miles.

As a gesture of customer satisfaction, *** extended the warranty coverage on the *** from its original duration of 60 months/****** miles to 84 months/84,000 miles (whichever occurs first) for certain 2017 Rogue vehicles. Unfortunately, Mrs. ********* vehicle was outside this warranty extension by 5 months, as well as, the repair was completed at a non-Nissan Dealer. We regret we are not in a position to offer additional financial assistance.

Should Mrs. ******** have any additional questions, he is welcome to contact his Specialist and reference his case number ******** at that time.

      Thank you.

On December 3, 2024, I was driving home from work on a crowded freeway. When the traffic subsided, my car made a loud noise every time I tried to drive faster than 20 mph. I realized my 2017 Nissan Rouge could not switch out of second gear. As soon as I could, I exited the freeway, pulled to the side of the road, and called ********** When the tow truck driver arrived, he told me this is a common issue for this model. The dealership service was closed so the tow truck driver towed it to a mechanic within the designated mileage limit so I would not have to pay for the tow. The mechanic kept my car for one week and let me know the transmission valve body was replaced which cost $1871.66. My Rogue only had ****** miles on it and was 5 months outside of the extended warranty and ****** miles outside of the manufacturer's warranty by miles. We have serviced this car and I have records to provide, if needed. I called Nissan HQ and was told that they would not take responsibility because I did not go to a Nissan dealer. My car is out of warranty and there is nothing in writing to the consumer that advises that it is a requirement to go to a dealer especially in an emergency situation where I was stranded on the side of the road at night. I would like to be reimbursed for this repair. I hope Nissan will do the right thing in this situation. Thank you.

I am not liable with this debt with NISSAN MOTOR ACCEPTANCE CORP (NMAC) as I was the victim of fraud when I was out of the country. The original contract has been requested but not provided so that I may submita police report and have for my records. This fraudulent account has been submitted to the ***, and has been removed from my Experian and Equifax credit report, but not from my ********** credit report.

Real simple. Trying to transfer title of a car they paid lien off about a year ago. Nissan did not release or send me paper copy and when I called their answer was to mail. I need my title now to transfer title and they would only over night if I gave them a fed ex account number. What consumer has that and why is that my responsibility? I will never buy Nissan again or have anything to do with NMAC and I want my title delivered to me immediately.

I am rejecting this response because:   They do not need vin or account #. I clearly noted in complaint this is about a paid off account and return of my title. When I called they were able to locate by my name and phone #. My phone # is ************. NMAC clearly did not read the complaint. Poor service by them just like when I called.

A statement for a lease agreement arrived at my home 45 days after the return of my vehicle to ********** Nissan showing an amount owed $395.00. I made a good faith payment of $150.00. Two weeks later I received another statement for $245.00. I made a second payment of $150 dollars. I then received a phone call from ***************************** on 12/31/2024. I was told the collectors were assigned to collect the full amount ($395) which contradicted the amount I actually owed ($95). I paid the remaining amount to Capital Credit Collectors and then called Nissan Financial Services. They informed me that they had records showing I was paid in full and that ************************* had two weeks to contact Nissan Financial Services about all of my debt being paid in full. A week later I received a call from Capital Credit Collectors that I owed $595.00 and that they had no proof I had paid my original debt ($395) in full and that now I owed an additional $200 dollars. I have in no way been notified by anyone that additional charges have been assessed to my account. My last statement from Nissan does not show any additional charges beyond the original $395.00. The Capitol Credit representative was rude, demeaning and ugly in her responses to me. I was harassed by ************************* when a call to collect any charges was unwarranted since all my debt had been steeled with Nissan.

Ive called multiple times spoken to the repo team, customer service and the escalation team..every time I call no one knows what to do and transfers me to different people. I was able to get some resolution from supervisor ****** ******* who stated he escalated matter to his boss on 12/30/24 till this day no one has called me back and case is till open? I financed a car with Nissan Motor Acceptance Company. I refinanced 30 days later and was told I would receive a refund for the *** payment I paid. I paid ****** and was told I would get a refund of ****** from there *************** 3 months later I have not received a refund. When I call them about it they said it would be 8 weeks and I refund would be sent out, then I have called to follow up on in and was told they have no record of that money to be refunded. I reached out to MPP Mechanical Protection Plan and they said they sent Nissan the refund check and that Nissan motor acceptance would be mailing me out the check.

I paid $997.43 on the NMAC app for my Nissan Ariya on December 2, 2024. I checked a few minutes later and it was paid. The next week I was forced to leave my residence and moved across country to **. When I looked at the app a few weeks later to prepare for my next monthly payment, it showed that the payment on December 2 had been canceled which of course is not true because I DID pay it. I was told that it would be reported to the credit bureaus, which of course will now lower my credit score. I paid the remainder of what was owed and I am in good standing. I have literally NEVER missed a monthly car payment, in all of my years of driving. I am very proud of that fact and I am not about to ignore the error that Nissan will not own up to. I asked for transcripts of the phone calls I made on December 2, 2024 and they will not release them to me. I believe the calls will prove that I made the payment. When I spoke with their customer service person they said it was paid, but within minutes it was canceled. They are saying that I canceled the payment shortly after making it. I DID NOT cancel the payment. I have NO idea how it was canceled, but I did NOT cancel it.
