      Company was initially contracted by AHS to service AC on July 3rd for and downstairs unit that was not cooling and leaking water into the garage. Service was quick. Problem returned a couple weeks later and A&M was dispatched out again for downstairs unit not cooling on 8/16. Spoke with on 8/17 and was advised that the unit would need to be replaced and had to be approved by AHS. Work was approved and I was advised parts would be in within 2 weeks. I checked status on 8/23 (Friday) and was advised by AHS that the parts have no tracking number because they have been ready for pick up since 8/21. Again, reached out to A&M with that information and received a text Monday 8/26 would install Wednesday 8/28. Did not show on 8/28 when texting to ask was told would do it next day. Thursday 8/29 arrived and installed unit for upstairs and said that's what I told them? I haven't had any issues with the upstairs unit and A&M Diagnosed the unit. Technician advised that I would have to speak with AHS and refused to do anything with the downstairs AC. Office and tech line will not answer. Issue shuodl have been resolved already and still needs to be resolved ASAP.

      Good day to all,

       I am happy to inform this matter was already resolved and both ac systems are running fine.

      I am sorry for the confusion. We go by serial numbers on the ac units so as to avoid these kinds of situations. The serial number of the unit we were working on was 2717x54862 and when we arrived we asked the person home to turn off the unit we were working on. One unit was off the other was running. We matched the serial number and did the repair. After the work was done the home owner contacted us by phone and said we had changed the wrong one. We told him that he would have to call the insurance company that was handling and paying for the work. We cannot do any work without the authorization of the insurance company. He did and the matter was resolved the next day. I can sympathize with the customers frustration thing usually take a little longer when going thru an insurance company .

      I am glad that the customer went thru the proper channels and we all worked together to get thing right quickly.

      Best regards

      ******

      June 2022: this company was contracted by American Home Shield to fix our ** unit. It required replacement after all diagnostics and a new unit install was completed by the end of summer of 2022. In December of 2022, I reached out to the owner, ******, who requested I submit orders through AHS. He was not timely and gave me nonsensical solutions, like 'taping the pipe' to stop a leak. I continued to use AHS to contract with him, as we continued to have issues with the ** unit install. He ended up COMPLETELY severing my secondary drain to stop a leak in the pipe to backup tray underneath the ** unit. I did not know of this until April 2023. In April of 2023, we sustained SIGNIFICANT home damage, about $50,000 worth of damage. It was determined that the primary line clogged, and ****** came out and unclogged it. But because the secondary pipeline was completely disconnected from the tray, GALLONS of water seeped from the attic, into our walls and ceiling of 2 floors. We used our home insurance for the repairs. it is secondary to his negligence, laziness, and poor craftsmanship that we sustained this damage. I have tried to contact ****** multiple times, but he has blocked my number. the ************** requested invoices from him, which he promised and fail to deliver. He has not returned any communication nor corresponded with any one. This is not his first time doing this either. He should be held responsible for my deductible at the minimum which is $6,890.00

      I am sorry to hear about the damages to your property. A&M Air conditioning is one of the many contractors that American Home Shield uses to service there customers. I have no way of knowing who other than us may have worked on the unit with the issues. The process is when one of American Home Shield customers has a problem they call American home shield. The warranty company then sends one of there contractors out to address the issue. If there continues to be an issue a recall is sent. As AHS customers stated a drain line was Clogged. This is a maintenance issue. Some drain lines are connected to a restroom drain and get Clogged frequently. These issues are out of our control. All we can do is go when assigned by AHS to remedy the problem. If AHS customer noticed water dripping they should have called AHS right away or even turned off until to prevent major damage. American Home Siding customer never reached out to me. I'm in the book and easily reachable. Either way I would have directed them to reach out to American Home Shield. Had there been an issue with the work we did it would have presented right away as the ac unit starts condensing water as soon as you turn the unit on. The fact the the issues arose months after the job was completed indicates it is a maintenance issue.

      If I can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to call American Home Shield or myself at ************ or ************.

      Thank you

      I am rejecting this response because:

      as I have attached screenshots, ******* air conditioning

      1. did not respond in a timely manner

      2. anytime I contacted them, they requested a referral through AHS

      3. I of course shut the ** down.

      4. ******* air conditioning has been the only contractor in my home for **;

      5. the drain line may have been clogged but because the secondary drain was cut by ******* as attached in the photos, it leaked into my whole home until the leak caused significant damage that I was able to notice it! had the secondary drain been intact and lead to the secondary pan, the ** unit would have shut down.

      6. ******* air conditioning should be held responsible for my deductible!

      I read the complaint from the homeowner. I was never contacted directly by the homeowner. If American Home Shield took weeks to forward the work order to me that is out of my control. The system was working fine for months. That shows that the repair was good. And the matter is a maintenance issue. The unit should also have a shut off switch at the secondary pan which would have prevented water overflow from happening. Why did it not? Did the switch go bad? These are matters out of my control. Furthermore this unit sits right on top of the restroom. If water was dripping from pan it would have been noticeable immediately I don't see how homeowner aloud the damage to get so severe.
