So they finally came out and completed the job 3 days later ac went out again. I have filed my service request with American Home Shield since 9/3/2022. This company has lied about receiving my part I provided with with order number and where to pick up part and they continue to state that they have not received part and are unable to fix my ac. They are dishonest unethical and very unprofessional.

We are sorry to hear this person had a bad experience with us. As stated by the homeowner they contacted American Home Shield. This is a warranty company and the persons they send to us are considered there customers not ours. We have no control on where AHS gets there units from and how long it will take to arrive. There is always a third party involved in the delivery of equipment and all this is out of our control. Once we take delivery of equipment we then have to fit the installation of such into our schedule. We feel for the customer because it is summer and we know it, we live here to. I wish we could handle the purchasing in house like we do for our customers but unfortunately that is not the process there warranty company uses.Review from Diana V

Horrible customer service, they do not confirm appointments and do not work around your schedule. They are unethical and unprofessional. They do not respond and do not communicate with the customer.Review from Sharon M

We've encountered a similar problem with *** Services. We, too, are with American Home Shield and are extremely disappointed in the service, rather lack of assistance from either of them. I do not want to give them even one star. We have never been given an appointment. We requested a/c service on called on July 20th. They are not responding to phone calls. I'm beginning to think that *** and AHS are running a scam. This past January our furnace needed repairs. Again, no word from AHS, and no one came out. We waited a couple of weeks, bundled ** in the family room. Finally, we got it fixed on our own. We've never been late paying. We don't understand why they would take our money and not provide service.A&M Air Conditioning Services Response

Greetings,*** Air is an independent contractor. We work for several warranty companies. You are a customer of American Home Shield who has several contractors to choose from. I can only provide services once I receive a work order to do so. Then I have to provide AHS a price to fix. I must have approval to proceed. I am sorry you had a bad experience with there process but I must say of all the warranty companies I have worked with AHS is the best. At least they approve the work orders, it may take a little longer than everyone may like but a lot of the other warranty companies just flat out deny the customers. I looked up your work order and noticed a coil was replace for you by AHS thru us and have not gotten a call back so I assume it is working fine for you. A&M AC missed 2 scheduled appointments with me on 8-11-2022 10am and again on 8-16-2022 10am. I attempted to call the tech, ****** and the office and received no return calls whatsoever during that entire time. I left voicemail messages too for both office and tech. I complained to my home warranty company - American Home Shield and they too failed in resolving my complaints. Today on 8-16-2022 ****** finally reached out to me via text message to tell me, not ask me or try to schedule but told me without any notice he could come over to my house and work on AC, but I had to reply within 10 minutes otherwise it would have to wait until the following week. When he finally showed up, I asked him to explain the 2 no-shows and he states they are too busy. I then asked why either him or someone from his office couldn't return my calls and he states once again they are too busy.A&M Air Conditioning Services Response

Good day,Yes I do admit that sometimes we get swamped, especially in the summer. When you have a great reputation and an A+ rating it is a blessing and a curse, everybody wants you. We try hard to service everyone and apologize when we fall short. We could hire more staff but then we would have to raise rates and no one wants to pay more. I looked up your work order and noticed that there was not a call back on the work so I assume the unit is ************* now and that is the result we all wanted. It was our pleasure and we value your input.
