My daughter is mentally disabled , I am on a budget due to her sickness for the past three years she lost her memory she's 35 , it took 3 years to get her disability, I had to quit all my jobs to take care of her , I brought her and my sister to Dollywood always loved Dollywood growing up , but renting a Scooter for 50 dollars is insane for people that are poor that cannot afford that , the park helps with car boosting and helping if you need a tire aired up the Man said on the trolley from the park as a free charge but cannot help families get thru the park that cannot afford a Scooter , she doesn't need them normally but with that big of park they do. Just a note with the company with that type of money I'm sure they wouldn't miss the funds from the scooters , and you would attract a lot more people with the advertising for that type of issues.

Drove 4 hours to get to this park waited in lines over 2 hours long. Rides constantly shut down. Bought the fast passes and by 6 hours in we had only got to ride the swings. Everything’s constantly getting shut down. Some rides not even open that were on the fast passes. Spent over a 1,000.00 there and all my kids were miserable. Was told that there is no refund on fast passes or anything they can do any rides staying closed and being shut down.
This is not worth your money or your sanity to go deal with all this.

Why did I get here early to just wait in line twice to enter park, paid more to stay at the resort to get in early and still couldn’t get in early.

We went to Dollywood today, it started out pretty good, and we were aware of the chance of rain, but we decided to chance it. IT did rain, but not much. I waited in lines for roller coasters for over an hour, just to be told they were being closed for maintenance, we got there at 10 when they opened and left after 5, and rode a total of 3 rides, because of waiting and then not getting to ride. We only paid for one day. We are Navy Vets, and was hoping this would be enjoyable, so we pretty much spent money, and watched some shows, but rode a total of 3 rides. very disappointing.

I bought gold passes for me and husband. First time we went our tickets are on paper. I handed papers to the person checking them. Each pass came with one bring a friend pass. Apparently they scanned his bring a friend and not his gold pass. Called to see about getting that fixed so we could bring a couple of friends with us but it shows of course one of the bring a friend pass had been used. They can’t fix it because they say they can’t prove he was there. Well, it states bring a friend can only be used when that pass holder is there. So why did they allow his bring a friend pass to be used if he wasn’t there? Just aggravated because the passes are rather expensive and now one of our perks is useless.

Dollywood’s Dreammore Resort advertised that their pool was open at 10am on their resort line via customer service and at their pool. Despite conversations with their manager Rachel we were not offered any refund for the false marketing of the pool nor were we offered anything for our troubles beyond an ice cream cone. They had an empty indoor pool with two lifeguards being wasted while families waited in lines by doors to the pool stressing they opened at 10am. This is not only bad business but terrible customer service. It’s an 80 degree day and despite many suggestions on how to make this work the manager refused to budge. We will not be coming back.

My family visited Dollywood on 3/12/24 for Spring break. We went to eat at the "Front Porch Cafe". I approached the hostess and let her know we had a party of 5. We stood there awkwardly as she fumbled around but said nothing. She finally said it would be a few minutes. We took seats as we waited. There was no line and the restaurant was not busy. A group of 6 walked up and the hostess seated them immediately. Our family is a black family and the other party was caucasian. My family was angered by this action and no longer wanted to eat there. I told them I agree, but waited for the hostess to return. I stated to her " We no longer wanted to eat there. I was offended by her actions to make us wait, but immediately seat a white group". She continuously repeated that she was sorry. We left and my 15 year old grandson stated that this was the first time he had experienced racism. I refused to let this spoil our time at Dollywood, but this has negatively impacted some of my family members.

Dollywood is typically our, "go to", for family entertainment at a theme park, but no more! We purchased season passes for our entire family (four adults and one child). The commercials that Dollywood presented to encourage purchasing a season pass specifically stated and showed "silver pass", promoting people to get their pass now to enjoy the rest of the 2023 season with a backdrop of families gazing at and enjoying the Christmas lights and displays. This certainly would lead the one watching this commercial to believe that you could use your season pass, whether it's the silver, gold, or diamond pass, to enter the park and use them for the remainder of this season as well as use them for the 2024 season, which was also part of this advertisement. We purchased our passes only to learn after the purchase that silver pass holders are blacked out and cannot attend the Christmas festival of lights! The commercial is misleading, and this type of business ethic is simply wrong! Why would any theme park offer a season pass that has limitations during the peak, seasonal park events? It's a misleading representation by making people think that a pass holder, regardless of type of pass purchased, gains access to the park for the remainder of the 2023 as a benefit of purchasing passes for the 2024 season. Only Gold and Diamond pass holders can go during the Christmas season. Of course, the park will let you upgrade to a gold or diamond pass once you arrive and realize your silver pass isn't eligible for these particular dates, which is a scam attempt at forcing silver pass holders to upgrade. The customer service assistance for this issue was less than satisfactory. Although we did receive a full refund for our silver passes (again, due to misleading advertising on Dollywood's part with their commercials about becoming a season pass holder) they were condescending and rude. This misleading advertising is the responsibility of the park to correct! Shameful policy!

My sister 51 yrs of age has been going to Dollywood with her Mentally challenged daughter for over 10-15yrs. Paying for season passes. I have been an ******** ********* ***** ***** ***** so needless to say our whole family has been going pretty much every year. She recently, Oct 20th had a heart attack, luckily she is an RN with a BSN and was working when it happened or she would not have made it. The heart attack damage is so severe she is now on the waiting list for a transplant. As you can imagine we are all in shock her funds are depleted slowing even after a gofundme, She called on Sunday to see about getting a refund for the passes and they told her only if she paid in full, then they would give her a refund (yes! Reread that one more time). I DO NOT believe Dolly would run her business this way and should know. Why do you think my sister need the refund and how do you think she could pay in full?!?!?
This is so upsetting to me but not as much as they told her if is dies her husband can get a Full Refund
    Discussed!!!

Horrible experience. Grossly overcrowded today. Almost never found any parking and when we finally did the lines for the bus to get us into the park was so long it was wrapping into the roadway and we had a stroller with 2 children waiting in the roadway with massive amounts of traffic right beside us. The parking attendants had lost complete control of the traffic and we ended up having to push a stroller through gravels to get out of the roadway. It was an accident waiting to happen and we just made a decision to load everyone back up and leave. I have been a pass holder for years and have never seen a mess like was there today. We were out 30 dollars on parking and never even got into the park. Horrible experience. It’s a wonder someone didn’t get hurt or ran over with the disorganized mess the parking was in today.
