Corbin, the local rep from Window Depot, came for an estimate. When he arrived, we were open about reviewing several offers. After measuring for windows and two sliding doors, Corbin assured us he could have the work completed in six to eight weeks. However, once we made the down payment, the tune changed and we were told it would be at least 13 weeks because, "the doors take longer and they won't ship windows and doors separately". We fully believe we were told what we wanted to hear just so we'd choose Window Depot. As it stands, we met with Corbin in early July, signed the contract later in July, and were told the install date would be December 9, five months later. When we agreed to go with Window Depot, it was 90 degrees outside. Since then we've had to shrink wrap the windows for the cold air that has our furnace running constantly. If they had agreed to return our deposit months ago after we were misled, we'd have gone somewhere else. Instead, we're stuck dealing with what we consider a dishonest company and we're left to wonder whether or not any warranty they provide will be honored.
