      Allstate sold an annuity I have had with them since the early 1980's to Wilton. I contacted them in January 2024 seeking full surrender. As of March 22, 2024, I still have not received the funds, even though all the paperwork was filed and in numerous phone conversations, I have been told it's in process and on the way. I know they have my correct mailing address because I have received mail from them.

      I submitted a written request for a copy of an annuity contract along with the a $25 check.The check was cashed on 1/25/24 with the expectation that the copy of the contract would be received within 7-10 business days.As of 3/18/24, the contract has yet to be received. Numerous calls since 1/25/24 to this company have resulted in the same response, that "the request is in process" even though I have demanded that the request be expedited.I have spoken to 2 supervisors and despite the promise that the supervisors would personally see that the request be expedited, the copy of the contract has yet to be sent. All this in the context that this company has been in possession of the $25 fee since 1/25/24.Please email me if more detailed information is required for the BBB to follow-up this complaint with Wilton.Thank you.

      Originally had life insurance policy with Allstate, its been taken over by Wilton Reasurrance Life . My original policy had a waiver that if I became disabled it would convert to permanent for life and I would not need to pay anymore premiums . I did become disabled so the policy did what is was supposed to and converted without any premiums on my part. Wilton recently sent me a letter stating my grace ****** had lapsed there for my policy was no longer valid. I lost my mind and called immediately to inform the representative that someone made a terrible mistake, first of all by never sending me a bill I should never receive or any correspondence stating that my policy was in any danger .Now I'm in the middle of waiting from a response from them in the mail! Who does that ! This is unacceptable , playing with my life now and worried what if something were to happen to be until I get a response . Worst company ever ! I will have to get some legal help !

      Allstate sold my and my wife's life insurance policy to Wilton Re. They have been extremely difficult to work with so my wife canceled her policy over the phone and by completing the required paperwork. Wilton Re continues to send notices of non-payment and has canceled the policy due to non-payment. I have asked them to correctly classify the policy as being terminated by owner and i can't get anyone at the company do so. I've tried customer service and sending emails. Am unsure how this company has a license to issue ********************** and it should be shutr down by regulators.

      Apparently as of 4/24/23 WiltonReassurrance ******** of ****purchased my sons Life Insurance Policy from Allstate Insurance. I purchased this policy for my son ******************************* on 10/20/91 and have been making quarterly payments to Allstate since then. As of 10/20/22 I had them deduct the monthly payment in the amount of $17.67 from my checking account which they were doing until 10/24/23 all of a sudden they stopped deducting the payments. I called to find out why and the gentleman just hung up on me. So I had ***** called and cancel this policy and to send either him or myself the payment refund check. He sent back their surrender request form on 1/4/2004 and were suppose to get back to him with the exact amount due. They did not do this. On 1/11/20024 they deducted November and Decembers payment in the amount of $35.34 from my checking account after they received the surrender request form. All we are looking for is the money I paid into this policy and cancel it. They did not take out January's **** payment.The quarterly payments I paid from 10/21/1991 were in the amount of $57.60 and as of 10/22/22 they were taking out $17.67 per month from my checking account. I am sure you are going to need the policy number which is ********* in the name of *******************************. Please email me if you need any other information.

      This relates to a life insurance benefit claim (I am beneficiary). Having filed all required documents in timely basis and complete, have had to contact Wilton over 10 times yo follow up and have no resolution (payment due) for over 3months. At each call I am told they are working on it, being processed or other non-committing response. Despite following all instructions for follow up (calls, emails) continue without resolution. This related yo a benefit from the passing of my aunt, it is also distressing to have to go over details repeatedly related to her passing. When asked how to have more detail or speak to supervisor or other means if recourse, I am told there is none and just to call back the following week. The instructions at one point were not followed, so required also inquiry into why. I am writing seeking immediate resolution but also to report to BBB so this doesnt happen to others specially at a sensitive time. Thank you.

      My father opened a whole life insurance policy with Allstate several years ago. At that time. His then wife was was listed as beneficiary. He has since divorced and move in with me ( his eldest daughter). He has been trying since 5/2023 to change the beneficiary to me. We have filled out the form and emailed it several times and each time have been told that something is missing page 2 is missing however, page 2 isnt missing, nothing is missing and in fact my last call to a customer service rep confirmed that he saw page 2 filled out correctly and that we should receive the updated policy in the mail. Since then all we received was the same old form stating we have to fill it out and send it back again. If there were something incorrectly filled out or omitted NOBODY had been able to tell us what it is. Since then Ive emailed twice- no response and called several times. The message I receive is that the office is closed .. my father has been paying a substantial monthly premium and Im now very concerned that this company has run off with his money

      I have contacted the company many times. They have taken payments for my insurance policy, but keep telling me I owe them money for my policy. They have been paid to keep my policy up to date, but they keep telling me that I owe them. They have taken more money from my bank account to keep my policy up to date. I recieved today on December 2 a notice dated November 15, stating that my policy is cancelled. I have requested a break down of my payment history five times and still have not recieved anything but requests for payment. There is no upper management to speak with. They tell me I will recieve a letter in the mail. They don't have a post **** on any of their envelopes, so they can say it was the postoffices fault that the letter is almost a month behind. This issurance company is purposely trying to rid their clients who are at a greater risk of collecting on the policies issued. The broker who issued the policy tells us that he has no control over the company who took over the policy. He cannot access any information.

      I had a life insurance policy with Allstate until they sold my policy to Wilton Reassurance Life Company of New York. PO Box **** ******* ** 52733-****. Since this transfer of my policy I have had no correspondence nor billing notices. I have called myself asking for letters and bills.I have sent in two payments and have had my checks cashed by this company. They have no record of this. They have no customer service or answers. My first check was cashed on 7/14/23 for ****** and on Nov 15 another check was cashed for the premium amount of $****** check number ****. I have now been told I have a lapse in policy as there is no proof and they are researching. At this point I no longer trust this company and I just want my premiums back. This company has a one star rating online and is a fraud. This is a policy I have had for decades and because of there shady practices have left me with no life insurance for my family in the event of my death. Its disgraceful

      My father has a life insurance policy thru them. My mom was the owner. I am the beneficiary. Everytime we call them we get a different answer!! All we are trying to do is get my dad as owner. My mother died in 2022!! This has gone on a year. My father is still paying the policy. Any forms weve sent have been denied! When we try calling we are told , we have to talk to the owner. For the 100th time she is dead! They even have a copy of her death certificate and they still ask to speak to her!! This is causing my father undue STRESS. I want it resolved. He cant even call to ask if his check got there because they only want to talk to my mother.. who is DECEASED.
