    To Whom It May Concern,
I am writing to bring attention to a troubling experience I had with Revid Rental Property. I believe the way I was misled, disrespected, and financially taken advantage of should be known to the public.
I signed a lease with Revid under the clear impression that the property was move-in ready. At no point was I told there would be outstanding maintenance issues or damage to the unit. However, upon receiving the keys and inspecting the property, I immediately discovered multiple issues—damages and conditions that made it absolutely unsuitable for move-in. To make matters worse, no one from Revid ever did a walkthrough with me before or after I got the keys.
When I reported these issues on move-in day, I was told to “call maintenance.” I was stunned—why would I be responsible for repairs on a property I had just signed for? When I expressed that I no longer wanted to move in under these conditions, I was met with hostility and threats. I never moved a single piece of furniture into the property and made it very clear I did not want to proceed.
Instead of trying to resolve the issue, the property manager dismissed my concerns by saying, “You knew the place wasn’t brand new,” and coldly informed me that I would not be getting my $2,300 back. When I went to their office to speak calmly in person, I was told to leave and threatened with the police. Their goal seems to be to force me into occupying a damaged property while keeping my money—without providing the quality of housing they promised.
This behavior is unethical, unprofessional, and unacceptable. I am sharing my experience publicly because tenants deserve transparency and fair treatment. No one should be bullied or deceived into living in poor conditions, especially after paying such a large sum in good faith.
I strongly urge your news outlet to investigate Revid Rental Property’s practices. I believe others may be facing similar treatment and deserve a voice.

I have been out of electricity for three weeks. My food has went bad. I cant work due to me working from home and my internet is down because of this. Its only two lights currently working at the moment. The breaker box is not working properly. The electricity jumps through the house. The electrical issue in this house is a fire hazard. I have been calling and putting in work orders for this issue for three weeks straight. Im constantly being told its being updated and someone will be out to fix it. Nobody has shown up. I drove the office and was told that the office is closed to the public and that they will let maintenance know. STILL NOBODY HAS CAME OUT. I called AGAIN and tried speaking with a supervisor and was told I couldnt. So I called back and went through as if I was wanting to rent a property and the rude guy that answered the phone told me I had to get my own electrician to come out to fix it. So I asked is that going to come out my rent. He stated No maam. I read my lease which states they are in control of that not me. I AM RENTING NOT BUYINGshould I add. I have 5 kids and I cant even fix them a hot meal in a house that I pay rent in. Food gone bad because the refrigerator is not on due to this issue. My kids cant enjoy their electronics and I cant work. This is heartbreaking and Im stressed out bad because of this. I have never rented from a company and been treated this way.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.As a newlywed, I rented a house from a wonderful management company called Mynd, and shortly after moving in was notified that the ownership of the property had been transferred to Revid. Little did I know what a red flag that was. Our AC was not fixed for about a month during summer of 2023, and then we were without heat for 100 straight days during this winter, when temps plunged to zero and stayed well below freezing for weeks. We put in at least SEVEN maintenance requests during this time, many of which were simply ignored. Water inside the house froze solid, and our health was in danger, so we had to leave the property until it was safe to live in again. This was a clear and unacceptable breach of Tennessee Code ********* - Failure to Supply Essential Services. This is a disgraceful company, and exhibits a complete disregard for the safety and comfort of its' tenants. During the time of our extreme need, they were slow to respond and refused to fix the issue. Now that we are moving out, they have been very active in communicating their demands for more money. Again, DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY.

47 days of h*** Everything stinks. The problems are very fixable but Revid is NOT doing anything to help. The hose is clogged and the odor is unbearable. I asked for new blinds bc the current blinds are ***** and water damaged. The water damage is from the rain that comes inside of the condo every time it rains. ******, the maintenance guy noted everything and put in a rqt for replacement. Today I received a notification that they cancelled my rqt. again. Ive been calling and no one answers. *********** ******** and **** is the said owner. The black mold in the shower is another story. The piece of plastic in the pictures is the trim that was on the door. The tile is still black after I scrubbed it. This company needs to close. They are rude and negligent. The maintenance guy said that he agrees that everything was a mess but the company is cheap. The French doors wouldnt open so they moved them and left holes in the wall bc the Sheetrock around the door is still wet from the rain Saturday. Can someone say black mold? At this point, just return my deposit and close your business. I have pictures as well.

This is the worst apartment complex to live. The customer service is horrible. I would advise anyone not to move in here. They talk a good game but it is not that, they are sheep in wooves clothing.

It is absolutely disheartening how inconsiderate and rude these people are. They lack any sort of empathy for basic human needs. I haven't had a working refrigerator for almost a week now. My lease agreement states I will be provided one and should any issues arise, maintenance will take care of it. This is not the case. Their maintenance tech marked my work order as complete after telling me to unplug my refrigerator and put my things in a cooler. Mind you, my groceries are ruined. There is no sense of urgency when it comes to fixing the issues you have as a resident. I called and stated I still did not have a working refrigerator, and I was cut off and hung up on. After that, my work order was marked as complete even though I had just stated to them my refrigerator was not working. How can you cancel someone's request before even fixing the issue? This is wrong on so many levels. I was told by the office staff that her job is simply to "rent apartments." I asked to speak to management and she cut me off and continued to transfer me to maintenance voicemail. Unorganized and unprofessional. Not to mention, I signed a renewal lease yet they still have my apartment listed for others to still pay to apply for on their website. Good luck trying to address any concerns to this place. You'll simply get ignored. I've worked in property management for 5+ years and I have never encountered such unprofessional treatment.

The customer claims that she has been ignored.  This simply isn't the case.  The tenant put in the ticket for repair on the 22nd of July.  An appliance technician was there on the 24th for repair.  It was determined that the unit had frozen over.  The tenant was instructed to leave it unplugged to allow it to thaw for 48 hours and to then plug it in.  At the time of assessment all parts appeared to be suitable shape for proper operation.  She has called and emailed several requests that indicate she, in reality, simply desires a new fridge.  We apologize that we are unable to meet ****************** demand of wanting a new fridge simply for the sake of having a new fridge.  Should there be further issue with the fridge or any other legitimate maintenance need at her property, we implore her to submit notice of that issue to her tenant portal.

I guess it's my fault for thinking that a company would do the standard things to a property. I gave them **** on the 1st. Two weeks later I gave them another ****. Just for me to pull up to the house with the grass standing 3 feet tall. When they told me that they would cut my grass before move in. I also found out that same day I was moving in that I did not have a hot water heater or a AC unit! I contacted code enforcement Friday and they came out Monday. Revid came by on yesterday and cut my grass after 12 days! They came and found the water heater was hidden inside the wall. But still no AC unit!! I paid them 2 thousand just for me not to be able to live in the **** house!!!.

As of writing this response, this person has a cut grass, hot water, and working A/C.  The property had a water tank the moment she moved in but did not make us aware that it wasn't working for several days.  As soon as we were made aware the issue was corrected.  The hot water was working before she moved in.  We're uncertain why it stopped, but they have confirmed it is still working.  The grass was intended to be cut before she moved in; however, rain did not allow for this.  It's been cut.  They were informed before move in and at move in that the A/C would be installed after her move in.  It was installed after her move in.
