  I had been seeing ads on Facebook from AOK so I figured I would give them a try. I messaged them through Facebook and got a quick response. Sent an acoustic recording, talked price, and received an invoice. After Invoice was paid it took a couple weeks to hear what they had recorded for me, so timeline wise I would say it was pretty quick.
  Communication from this point was pretty bad. Took a bit to get a date secured for vocal recording. After date was booked I drove to Hilltop Studios in Nashville. The Gentlemen working there was very friendly. Was in and out of the studio in 30-40 minutes ( this was for 2 songs), and he told me it was "great to have a singer that can actually sing and get in and out so fast". Sure there were a few pitchy spots but he assured it was nothing that auto tune couldn't correct and once again talked how we liked my sound.
  A couple weeks later I received the final mastered track no message or anything just a folder. I listened and instrumentals were great, however the vocal recording sounded very robotic in some spots. I am not sure why that would have even been sent truthfully. Unless they weren't listening after editing? I complained and was told the track was very pitchy and off key pretty bad ( even through the engineer assured everything was fine while I was in Nashville). A week or so later I was sent another folder labeled "relaxed tuning". Most of the robotic sound was out of it, but you then could hear some flat parts and off pitch parts. I was told the program being used was Meladyne, which I am certain you can take the time, go in, and dial in off key notes. But at this point it's either sound robotic, or off pitch. I chose the off pitch.
  I was hoping to work with AOK and get more songs recorded but vocals are the main part of a track. If they can't be fine tuned then that kind of kills the deal. If things were too off pitch to be usable, that should have been caught in the recording process.

  This company Didn't deliver on promise. I payed these people and received hardly nothing, just a graphic design, something that I had all ready created.

  I contracted with AOK for $400 to produce a song for me, including all instrumentation and a singer. When I received the finished product, I was not at all satisfied with the singer's quality, so I asked for a different one. After months of stringing me along, they finally offered me to have $100 back for the lack of a singer. However, they never paid me nor provided me with a commercial release for the instrumental portion. Finally, my time period to challenge the my credit card charge expired and AOK is no longer replying to my posts and emails and even deletes my Facebook posts wherein I follow up for satisfaction, So I am out $100 and a commercial release.
  I will never do business with these people again.

  We provided one of Nashville’s most lauded singers. Mr. ***** did not like it. When we spoke about the refund, I was out of the country. But I did refund $100 for the vocalist when I got back into the office and could. Wish him nothing but the best with his music.

  AOK produces quality recordings. The same quality and players as used on mainstream country albums. I've been extremely pleased with their quality and their integrity. Adam Knight is experienced in the music business and operates his business ethically which isn't always the case in the entertainment industry.
  Their song promotions are also top notch and I have had a lot of success using them.
  I highly recommend AOK Records for any recording needs or promotional needs an artist has.

  We will never do business with AOK records or Adam ****** again. The recording was fine, but there was no accountability for the extra $1200 promotion package we purchased. He broke his word to us and did not call us when he said he would. All we got out of the $1200 was a photo I could of done on my computer in 5 minutes. He blocked me on Facebook because he knows what he did was wrong. BUYER BEWARE

  I provided my first review January 20th this year. I have sent Adam numerous emails and he taken the same position of the majestic ostrich. Who would not want to resolve a minor issue to avoid involvement from a lawyer or the appropriate authorities? As a business man, I just can’t understand his strategies. I am going to make one more effort to solve this amicably.

  Adam knight president of AOK records has come through with half of his agreement. He has stoped corresponding so you don’t know what’s going on. Im going to paste and cut my last text to him. I also have the copy of agreement and payments received by AOK Records to back up everything I mention on the text I'm pasting.

  This is our agreement. I need a call sir to verify the status of this work. You have produced 3 songs. 1 of the songs entitled LONLY WHEN YOUR GONE was supposed to be released to the 2100 radio stations on July 4th. Also every week the songs are to be pitched to major artists. Since you have produced the 3 songs I’m not hearing from you Adam. That’s all I know. You have not corresponded to me. Please hear me out. Im simply looking at the agreement you have made with me and I’m not hearing from you or hearing as to how things are going? I’m asking you to please give a call. As a customer of your business with unfinished work on the table I hope to see the integrity from a man of his word and a man of God. Will you please give me a call to let me know how things are going.

  Adam Knight can still come good on his agreement, I hope he does but I’ve posted this here cause the man nor a representative of AOK records has responded so I hope they respond through here. Last text to me was July 20th here it is;
  It’s not going to sit there. It’s a process. A Highly trained and very specific team is reaching out to hundreds of radio stations on your behalf. We are doing a $750 campaign on this song just as a bonus for you recording the song with us. If it feels like your hands are tied, they are. You can’t get yourself played. We can, and we are.
  after several attempts on phone leaving VM, text, email, FB his web site I’ve received Nothing! I used a reference earlier “A man of God” cause he pastors a church. Just saying I’m not taking a jab but really, Where’s the honesty? Where’s the accountability?

  AOK production will promise you what you want to hear, however if you question Adam on any of the work he does that’s not what you want, he will ignore you and block you so you cannot get ahold of him. It happened to me, it was great at first, he did 3 songs for me, turned out great, then HE solicited me for another song which I reluctantly agreed to even though I couldn’t afford it. So I sent him my song after HE ASSURED me he has access to a childrens choir(which is needed for my song). After about 2 months he sent me a copy of the song which was not how it was supposed to be, after I mentioned it to him, that was it, he blocked me from all social media and I never got my song or money back. It’s been 15 months now with no resolution. I have kept every conversation with Adam as proof to what I’m saying.
  He lied to me just to get $550 out of me. He claims to be a man of god, but his actions show otherwise.
  Buyer beware, Adam is not an honest man, he’ll say anything to get your money. Again, I have proof of everything I said in this complaint.
  It’s a shame he had to ruin a good partnership over his ego.

  I have several songs produced by AOK Records; I sent in my lyrics & had input on what I thought how my song should sound. I must be honest, sometimes Adam will advise me how it should be done a different way. If you go to JA Bridgford on YouTube you can see their outstanding work. Never have they promised radio play for $750, as a man who has been around music my whole life. Studio time is not cheap, unless you want second work!!! Hey that should be a song! LOL "Secondhand Work" coming soon!!

  Great studios and great musicians. I paid to have a song promoted and was given little supporting stats as promised. I will be filing a comprehensive, document supported complaint when in Nashville. Very disappointing...
  If this is rectified to a satisfactory level, I will gladly withdraw my review.
