    Awful company. Water outages that last days. No information provided, will not talk to you, not even a voicemail. Was out of town for a month, WATER WAS OFF, water bill went up. They will not talk to you about it. Then when they’re not allowed to charge higher rates, they came up with this:
    Pay $2/month for insurance, or if there’s a problem, we can charge you a fortune. Should be illegal

    I've never in my life heard of water being over $100. It's been going up every month. I've talked to a couple of others who have the same water company who live way on down the road and theirs is $100 too! South Fork Utility District needs to own up and do something about this! Water shouldn't be as much as your electric bill especially when you have a septic and there is no sewer charge! ??

    So we have been without water for 2 days now, this morning I called and was told that it was fixed and they were just finishing up so the water would be back on within 2 hours. It's been 4 and no water. Their answer was to shut the voicemail off on the phone and send it straight to a message that there is no voicemail. They can't even be bothered to let the captive audience that they have as customers know what is going on. Seriously poor customer service, where is all of the money that we (over)pay for going if not to hire someone to deal with the public? One star is better than they deserve.
