    Every year my wife's family and ** vacation here. Usually they rent one of the houses and we rent a condo on the beach. **** 2022 we were invited to a************* north beach version presentation. In this presentation we were told about all the wonderful benefits and that we'd get 10% of our stays at north beach being that this vacation we take every **** is the only real vacation my wife and I take. Because we do visit every year we get *** pricing every year and expressed this to the charter sells people who then assured us that the 10% off would be off the *** pricing as well if we purchased.
    They did tell us that we'd have to wait till the *** pricing was offered for the next year to receive the 10% off of it. That pricing usually comes out in November. Believing what they told my wife and I also understanding it would take a couple years for the membership to actually payoff, we purchased. Fast forward to November 1, 2022. Received the *** pricing went to the North ********************** charter portal but found that there is no way to get 10% off the *** pricing notified them of this complaint they a had a representative call me and assured me I was wrong about this inability to receive the discount or that even the pricing between the two were the exact same. He asked that I give him a unit we were interested in and he'd look into it. That was like November 7th 2022. As of today December 26th 2022. We're still waiting. We were lied to. Cheated/stole from and have now decided not to reserve there again. We will be in Myrtle ********************** in **** again and will without a doubt address this matter face to face with this group. We better not ever receive anymore cost from this group or further steps will be taken against this group. We will chalk it up as a should have known better and will obviously post about is to warn others and not reserve at North ********************** again. So I guess in that way we did actually receive more than 10% off their *** pricing as now we're not paying them at all.

    We will never be back. We were promised a certain room. Called the day before to make sure everything was lined up. Was told my room was reserved for us. We drive 6 hours to get here. When we get here we are told we can't have the room. Was treated like I lied about speaking to anyone about wanting a certain room. Was told they don't guarantee certain rooms. We paid **** for 3 might because I was told we were getting this room. We brought friends with us this time bragging on how nice everything was here only to be let down and treated like a liar. We will never come back. Your staff ruined our trip and I had to pay **** to be ****** off while here

    I was never told while booking that there wasn't a guarantee on rooms. I requested the room. Was told I could have it when I booked it. I was quoted a price based on reserving this unit or one next to it.

    Upon check in they acted like I was not being truthful about previous conversations with their booking folks.

    I was originally given a room on the 3rd floor. We requested the penthouse. That's on the 20th floor.

    The only resolution they seemed to offer was on the 10th floor.

    This isn't what I booked. It wasn't communicated to me there would be an issue getting this room. Didn't tell me I may have to settle with what's available.

    That's OK we won't be back.

    So sorry to hear that , we do our utmost to honor all requests , unfortunately , we had a renter already in that unit.

    The guest booked a three bedroom condo , which we assign the specific unit number at check in. This is normal operating procedure. I guest can request a specific unit number , and we honor those requests 100 % if the unit is vacant and available on the day of check in .
