      THIS PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN! I've never seen such a blatant example of false advertising. I booked a four-night stay at Landmark Resort in ************ expecting a clean, relaxing, oceanfront experience based on the photos and descriptions provided at the time of booking. What I received was the complete opposite....dirty, unsafe conditions that did not reflect what was promised. The hallways smelled like urine, the room we were given smelled strongly of mold, which aggravated my asthma and allergies. Fruit flies were everywhere. The bedding was inadequate, with only a thin, flat sheet instead of a blanket. We found hair in the towels, and some towels were clearly not cleaned properly. The pool area was grimy, and the indoor pools had visible dirt and murky water. There was also a used plate with food all over it left in the fridge. DISGUSTING. I reported these issues immediately, but the only resolution offered was a $200 refund out of nearly $1,000 spent. This amount does not reflect the level of discomfort and misrepresentation I experienced. I would have checked out early, but we were stuck due to renovations at our home and unable to find other accommodations in the area.The overall condition of the resort was not only unsanitary but borderline unsafe. I paid for a stay that was supposed to match the resorts advertised quality and services, and it did not. I contacted my bank for a chargeback, but it was deniedlikely due to the resort issuing a partial refund, which seems to have been a way to avoid full accountability.I am requesting a more appropriate refund to reflect the misleading advertising, poor health conditions, and the fact that we could not enjoy the stay we paid for. I hope this complaint encourages Landmark Resort and Vacation ************ to take these issues seriously and improve both their facilities and their customer service policies.

      We checked into our room yesterday, only to find that it had not been cleaned, definitely not updated, splattered paint on the stove and cabinets, was not the room that was advertised. Was told next time that I should utilize the pick the room so I’m know what I’m getting. I guess that was my fault for thinking that the pictures of what I was booking was actually what I was getting. There was a complementary toenail on the balcony. Dust and dirt everywhere. Corner of baseboard had a piece of hard cheese , grease on floor near stove , Sheets were dirty . For the amount of money we paid to stay here versus the accommodations that I am staying in, I do not live like this at home. I am very disappointed. You could definitely tail this room was not cleaned. Please save your money and do not stay here !! This place deserves zero stars, but unfortunately, I have to select at least one to continue

      ******************* was horrible. After going in my room, within 20 mins I was back down at the front desk.Complaining that I had no lights in my kitchen. This complaint went on for Another six times within three days. I asked to be recommendated for my trouble and they told me they could only give me half a day. My room was also Dirty and the front desk staff begin to Talk down on my wife and I.Because we had complaints about the customer service. The maintenance staff came and lied to our face, saying that they can't do any work due to.It's time for him to get off and it was nine ******** I later found out that he gets off at eleven. Once.I demanded to speak to the ******** told me I will be able to speak with him before I leave and I told them you all.Don't even know what time i'm leaving. The next day they told me the general manager was off and they did not know He was scheduled off. There is no way that I should have spent more time at the front desk than in my hotel room. I also found out that the pictures that are in The brochure are definitely not what you see when you go into the hotel. My best Experience was outside of the hotel. The only great thing is it's on the beach. This place is horrible and I let the staff know That I too work at a very large hotel and I do what they do. The job could have been In ten minutes. But in my stay Of three days The job was not done Even when I left. My family and I will never go back to this place.

      Awful resort. Suites are dirty and infested with roaches. Water slides haven't worked the entire stay. You have to pay to park. They tell you to leave the trash outside of rooms in the hallways along with towels. Cabinet doors are loose and falling off. Mold in bathrooms and ceilings. For 2500 for a weeks stay is not even close to worth it. This "resort" is more like a motel.

      We just came back from this resort ! My husband and I have both been looking into buying timeshare . So we based a week to let the kids enjoy a vacation and to see some options for us . Of course the room was ok meaning no bed bugs but could have been a lot cleaner . When we arrived 6-1-2024 everyone seemed happy with everything except like I said the room was not that clean however the place was not packed either which was great ! Well our check out date was 6-8-2024 however we needed to extend one night as my husband called front desk they confirmed it , he also explained that we became sick after eating out and there was little to no way we felt like packing up and driving during this he put a freeze on his bank card because we thought our 16 yr old lost it that I would be bringing another card down they were very understanding reassuring us that no rush get well and come down if we have to . Needless to say I went down at ********************************************************************************************************************************************** and he already knew I was their to extend well everything became very quiet he walked away to tell us some how someone booked our room leaving a msg for management to call us .Apologizing saying worst case would possibility of switching rooms saying Management would call us around 8:30 am . No one called so my husband called the next morning around a quarter till 9 am they say sure the room can be extended we did not feel like driving five hours back she said fine well my husband went on to tell her he had to call the bank because his bank card was found he had to call the bank that I came down Lastnight and was told our room had became reserved due to a country event then EVERYTHING became silent and she said the same well my husband was vivid at this point so he just told her have a nice day so we had to spend additional ****** for a room we spent ***** at the resort on food that made us sick never

      This is a DUMP. We stayed in a penthouse. $1,000 per night. The bathrooms were dirty. The master bath had mold, the toilet leaked, the shower doors didn't close and the shower water did not get hot. The sink was cracked. Toilet was cracked. The hallway bath, the tub was disgustingly dirty and the toilet paper holder was broken. The place was dirty. The kitchen pans had food stuck on them. There was a gross brown liquid on the walls in various rooms. There was a hole in one of the walls. The baseboards were brown with dirt and dust.Upon checking in, they advised they would call us when our room was ready. We waited 5 and a half hours (it was after their check in time at 4pm) and had to wait in line st the front desk with the giant line of people to find out our room was ready. The people in the line next to us were trying to check in and they gave them keys to a room that someone was already staying in. There were people having *** in the pool outside.The hotel itself is like a maze. People were wandering around and couldn't find anything.The breakfast buffet was like $23 and small. Not worth it.You have to pay $12 per vehicle per day to park. We called and went to the front desk multiple times to get the issues fixed and no one would come. One of the times, someone came to the room and said there was nothing they could do as the rooms were privately owned.Don't stay here. It's a moldy, disgusting mess.

      I stayed at The landmark. The unit I stayed in was full of mold. I have asthma and I had to go to urgent care. My breathing was labor also my eyes were swollen and infected. I took pictures of the mold and my eyes. I was lied to by the manager that was there. It was the worst experience. While I was making a complaint it was someone else complaining about bedbugs. Just nasty. I love ************ but I will never stay on the south side.

      It had mold in the bathroom we found 2 pillls in the floor the sheets had something black on them. There was rust on the lamps and pantry shelves. It was horrible
