I have never, ever received an email from them. Today they sent my mom an email that listed all the details to the debt they claim is mine. I am over 30 years old, how does a company contact family members about personal information without the customers approval? And again, never once did I receive an email from them.
I have paid the debt directly to the company and owe nothing to Shepherd Outsourcing.

I have been receiving text messages from Shepherd Outsourcing indicating that they are a debt collection agency working on behalf of ********* ******* ******* ***. They provide no information regarding my name, the amount of debt is owed, or any information regarding this debt. They did provide a reference number *********. So far, 4 texts have been received on May 10, 12, 19 and 21. A pdf showing the screenshots of these texts is attached.
I have no knowledge of any prior debt, nor have I had any prior or current contact with either of these companies. My credit is excellent. I checked my credit reports with the three major credit agencies and no outstanding or unpaid debts are listed. In addition, I checked with the identity theft service I use, and their records indicate no illicit activity or any outstanding debt.
I have not clicked on any of the links provided, nor have I called their phone number (888-991-5696), as these texts appear suspicious.
Since there have been multiple reports of Shepherd Outsourcing having the wrong phone number in their efforts to contact someone else, it’s my guess that they have the wrong number. Can you confirm this and have them correct this mistake.
