    I had a technician from R&B come out to perform a checkup on our HVAC on July 6th, 2023. At the end of the visit, I was offered the option to pay for the service in full, or sign up for their service plan for $19/month. He explained it would be a lot cheaper to do that, that I would need to complete at least two visits, and that after that I could cancel the plan. So I signed up, paid the monthly fee until the fall visit. After this, I called in to cancel and for the first time was told that a minimum of 12 payments had to be made. I questioned them on this, and they referred to the terms in the invoice, which state:* Membership, discounts and service visits auto-renew. Cancellation at anytime with 30 day written notice to allow enough time to stop autopayments. If any service have been performed and there have not been enough drafts to cover the cost, full payment will be drafted at time of cancellation *Nowhere does it say anything about a year, twelve payments, or a minimum total amount to be paid.Upon cancellation I was charged $152 for what according to them were the remaining months of service.

    Customer signed up for HVAC maintenance. Received 2 visits and had not finished paying for those services. This is no refund that will be issued. 

    It is clearly stated on the invoice that you can cancel this membership at any time we just ask you have paid for what you have received so that we do not give any services away for free. I do not believe asking a customer to pay a minimal charge for what they requested is to much to ask. As a matter of fact most customers understand we do not do work for free. 

    In this even the customer tried to be dishonest and sign up for a membership to get his unit cleaned and serviced and avoid paying full cost by thinking he would sign up, get services and then cancel right away. No refund will be gien at this time we reserve our right to not service.
