I was relocating from Charlotte I came to sign a lease once I got in town, I asked to see the unit and the apartment representative said we will do a walk through after we do paperwork. She handed me the Keys and when I did the inspection it was evening time. I emailed them the same day saying I did not want the unit the condition was poor. I told them it was bug and roach infected and the apartment has not been clean … I left and filled out a new application and got approved and paid money over there to move in. Except the deposit. Well, waiting on a response from the apartment complex I told a new complex that I will get my deposit back and move in over there.
The first complex prolong for so long, my application got canceled in the new place. They told me to a chance to fix it instead of me getting my money back. I did say no when I continuously to this day email and only thing they did was sent sent pest control. The ice box is not working. The sockets was not replaced. The carpet was not replaced and has stains. The only thing that came in and do was to clean it because the lady said it was not made ready for the tenant.
Now there is black mode on the wall, water, stains bugs, and the lights and black mold under the sink and every time it rains the whole carpets get flooded. This unit is unacceptable and I want my least terminated. No charges told me to move out. I will have to pay three months rent, even though I’ve been trying to move out since day one
I asked for corporate number they gave me an email corporate has not been a good assistance. No one is ever in the office when I go up there my mailbox key didn’t even work. I had to get a new one. It’s been nothing but problems since I moved in here, smells like me doing maintenance have not yet to come look at the flooded carpet it has rained at least twice since this has happened The response time is horrible

The code inspector came out and inspected the unit. The pictures are getting worse, water damage and mildew possible mold the inspector let them know that they needed to put me in a hotel and they still have not done that as well. I need to understand do I need to pay rent during this time? I am having to leave the apartment for period of time because it’s hard to breathe clearly through the mess.
