      Our ***** system was installed in 2021, the company we dealt with owner retired, it was sold to McGee Heating and Air. Called out for cleaning and system check. This tech found there was a leak in coil, recharged unit, and completed a system exam, the recharge was over 600.00. Coil is under warranty; however labor for this install would be around 500.00. Following day wiring harness shorted system, to include the compressor, this tech said when he put (previous tech) system back together did not strap wiring harness and wire came loose and shorted system. I spoke with their service manager this morning and wires dont just come loose and making it seem as NO ONE on their end is liable. He spoke as the first tech labor cost was way low and would be in excess of 1,000.00 and alluded that we would have to cover labor on their error for wiring harness and compressor could be a couple more thousands of dollars. Stating they have to contact ***** then call us with quote and if we accept then will order part. They get reimbursed from *****. We as their business practice seemingly is we are NOW ON THE HOOK for labor on their error as well. The ethics I am hearing from them is awful. We are just messed over, because the original person was ethical and now we are at mercy of McGee
