Hi, I placed an order from Night In Boxes on *** *** 2024. The order number is **********. About a week after the order was placed, I received an email that my shipment was on it's way. However, the tracking shows that a shipping label has been created and **** is awaiting the item, but it HAS NOT shipped. Now, a month after my order was placed, the shipment still has not shipped! This company took my money, acted like they had shipped my order, and scammed me out of my money!! The **** tracking # is: **********************Initial Complaint

I purchased a night box on ******** ***** 2024, order #********** and I paid $57.70. I received the package and it had very cheap items in it worth not even $5. The description on their website made it sound like you get so many things in this box and it turned out to not be true This is a complete scam and I want my money back!Initial Complaint

Box was $45 and contained items worth a total of $5. Tiny art kit (maybe $3), hot cocoa sticks ($2) and then paper with instructions. Site states that all sales final.Customer response

Purchased Date Night in Box "To Have & To Hold" on **** **** 2023 for a total of $56. I contacted the company that night asking to cancel the order. They never responded to me and a few days later I received an email that my order had shipped. I still have not received the order, I have never heard back from this company, but you can be sure that they took my $56. The company has multiple email addresses listed depending on where you look (the one at the bottom of their emails is different from what is on their website).Initial Complaint

I had a monthly subscription with Night In Boxes and was initially very happy with the service provided. I decided to cancel my subscription after 6 months or so because my husband and I had gotten behind on actually doing the boxes, so we just wanted a break. However, they continued to take payments of $52.98 for 7 months thereafter. I never received any boxes for these payments, totaling $370. I sent emails to the email address provided on their website over a dozen times and never once received an acknowledgment or a response. Then I tried messaging them on ********* several times, still I did not receive a reply from them. I was trying to contact them for over 4 months, then they blocked me on *********. I’m upset that I never received any responses to the emails I sent, and when I tried to find out why my account was charged without receiving any goods or service they just blocked me from contacting them.Initial Complaint

The business in question is Night In Boxes and our annual subscription was to their Date Night In Box line of products which renewed ******* *** 2023 but we never received a box for the new year. Due to not receiving our product, we cancelled our annual subscription April of 2023. Despite the companies statement that we would receive the remaining boxes with our most recent purchase, we have not received the boxes we were meant to have prior to cancellation and none which the company said we would receive to cover the cost of the subscription already paid for. The reference number for the claim is #**********. The total purchase price was $595.00 for the subscription. 3 month subscription was purchased *** 2022 as a gift for my husband. Account was cancelled at that time. There have been charges, without receiving any product on ****/2022, *****/2022, ****/2023. There was another charge ****/2023 and we have received product from that charge, however it was not authorized. All of these unauthorized charges were in the amount of $152. There is no way to access order history on Nigh in Boxes website, no contact phone number, and no way to delete credit card information from their website.Business response

Hello,
The accusations this customer is making is false. Each and every customer has a portal they can login to that can make any changes to their account. In fact, this customer is stating she had no way to do this but yet I can see on *** 1st she reset her password- skipped her next renewal instead of cancelling it and did not cancel her account until **** 1st. WELL AFTER HER RENEWAL PERIOD.

I am rejecting this response because:1) I cancelled the account after the initial order ******** 2022. The website does not allow customers to view any order/ shipping/ account cancellation history, so unfortunately I have no proof of this. (Which is likely why this company has a BBB rating of F! I only wish I would have done more research prior to the initial order, I would have never done business with this company.)
2) We did receive 3 boxes after ******** 2022 order and have received 2 boxes from the *** 2023 charge. However, no boxes were ever received from the other UNAUTHROIZED charges.
3) Yes, I did reset my password *** 2023 after receiving an unexpected, unauthorized shipment. I did so to look for documentation of the cancelled account to submit to our credit card company for the dispute.
4) Night in Boxes website does not allow customers to delete their cred card information- only replace it. I have no put a stop in place on my ******** credit card, but this screams scam to me and I wish I would have known prior to my first purchase.
5) We were happy with our initial order in ******** 2022, and are complaining now because we have been charged multiple times and never received any goods.

I ordered a 3 month subscription box in February. I only received the first box. No box in March or April. Numerous, repeated attempts to reach out to customer service were ignored. As I did not receive 2/3 of the products ordered, I should not have been charged the full amount. I wish had read other reviews here before ordering. Buyer beware.Business response

Hello, this package came back to us at "RTS" Return to Sender. We are more than happy to send out a new one and will do so today. The customer might have been emailing an old email address that was compromised and the domain had to be shut down. We have changed all our email links and sent out a new notification to send emails to - ********************************** *

I am rejecting this response because: The address I provided is accurate. The email address was the only one found on their website. What they are saying is not true. I'm not the only customer that has recently had this happen. This company is scamming people. I was supposed to have this product before my anniversary tomorrow. Unless they can do 1 day shipping then I don't want it.

I placed an order with this company on ******* ****. There was no delivery date when I placed my order but I was given the order number #*********** While waiting for more information, sent an email on the *** of ******** and a ******** message on the ***. Someone followed up with me and told me they were waiting on one of the pieces for one of the boxes showing me an order for chocolate with their own order number **********************. They told me that as soon as they received that order, I would receive my products within two days. When I looked to follow up with that order, it said it was delivered on the **** of ********. Since then, I have tried to reach out on the ***** *** ****, and again on ***** **t with no answer. This is a horrible misuse of my time and having spent over $100, I expect at least my money back if they are not going to deliver on their product.
