I have used the services of ********** in the past to create a resume. I have cancelled this subscription long ago and while I was reviewing my current credit card charges I noticed a new charge from ********** for $19.95. I have not used their services for some time and do not need to use their services. I then called their dismal customer service to do the 2 following things:1. Dispute and refund my money 2. Find out why my card was charged.While trying to do this with the unconcerned employee there, I was trying to be sold even more services that I did not want (obviously due to the reason for my call). The employee very quickly said they were cancelling my subscription again that I did not sign up for and started saying that they were going to get off the phone but I wanted clarification as to how the charges even came to be in the first place (was it a hack, was it them trying to sneak charges onto customers, do I need to cancel my credit card, etc.). The employee just told me that I would have to use the chat service on their website for some reason and when I said that would not work and I would like to be transferred to someone who could help me get that answer like a supervisor or manager, I was told I was not allowed to speak to anyone else there. I then asked for their corporate contacts and was then hung up on. I want to know how this charge originated, why it did, IP addresses for what computer it did, if I need to take legal action to ensure it does not happen in the future, and also know if Live Career is doing this to other customers without their knowledge.
