      My experience with Carvana was miserable. I'm selling my (deceased) father's car - low mileage, great condition hybrid. The online application process was straightforward and smooth. The car was still titled to my father, and in my state one can sell it like that. I made sure Carvana was aware by uploading all relevant documents, including the one that declared me his estate administrator.

      They approved the sale; we scheduled a time for pick-up. I took a half day off work.

      Day of sale, they called fifteen minutes ahead of my appointment and told me the title has to be in my name - Carvana policy. During my hour and a half at the title bureau, I used the chat feature on Carvana's site to ask what to do next. I could not find a phone number on the site anywhere. Eventually, the chat rescheduled pick-up. I scheduled another half day off.

      I got an email asking me to upload the new title; the site would not let me. I tried the FAQ, logged out and back in, tried the chat bot again... no dice.

      When the driver called this today, I told her what was up: I have the new title but can't upload it. No problem, she said. 45 minutes later, she called and cancelled because my account was not accurate. She gave me a back door employee-use-only number. The rep unlocked my account; I the new title.

      And they refused to come out today. I cannot reschedule. The 30 year-old rep was rude - "You could have just called us and let us know you were having problems" - called what number?! He challenged me when I said I couldn't drive the car 31 miles to a Carvana location. I just changed the title two days ago and did not reregister it - why would I? I'm not driving it. He said "I usually don't do that stuff until the vehicle is sold".

      So I lost a day of work on short notice, got gaslit and mansplained by someone half my age, and now I have an unregistered vehicle sitting in my condo complex. And am no closer to selling this car.

      I will NEVER use Carvana again.

      We had a great experience at the Elyria branch with Mylann. The whole process was fast, easy, and straightforward. Mylann looked the car over thoroughly with us and even showed us things to look for when buying our next car. He was kind, factual, and did not pressure us in the slightest. I shopped around, and believe we got the best possible price for our car at this place. Highly recommend!

      I tried a couple of other places. We Buy Any Car was the most honest and straightforward. I got a quote before my appointment. The quote was based on the information I submitted and a phone interview about our car. We worked with Colton Johnson in Eden Prairie. He thoroughly checked out our car. This car was in the exact condition I gave them so nothing changed with our quote. Colton had us out of there in 40 minutes with a check in our hand as promised!!! We were super impressed with We Buy Any Car and especially with Colton!!
