I purchased a full set of ******** tires back in April with a warranty. I started having issues with one of the tires where it shakes my entire truck during ***** mph. I was not informed until after making a warranty claim that it could take up to ***** days to have anything done PLUS possibly having to send the tire in for inspection. I had the tire road force balanced to show it will not balance and sent that in to warranty as well. Those details should be posted to consumer before purchasing so we are aware and can make the decision to purchase with that warranty disclaimer or not. The tire has started compromising road safety and putting strain on my entire vehicle suspension. Ive reached out multiple times and only told that they have reached out to the supplier but that is all they can do. This is completely unacceptable and has made my truck inoperable. I never would have purchased had I known before hand that I had to wait that long to HOPE that they would warranty a tire.Business Response

I went online and purchased tires from Simpletire.com on Nov 1st. These tires were for my business. I needed them asap. Shipping promised a 3 day arrival time of November 3rd. The tires were delayed and promised arrival by November 8th. November 9th I call and ask where my tires are. They send me a picture of tires on the doorstep of someone elses house and promis to send out replacement tires immediately with 2 day shipping. November 11th I call and email to find out that the tires still have not shipped out. At this point i want my money back, I'm done begging for the product i purchased. The customer support is Pakistani with thick accents and will not process a refund. They say it is "impossible because there has already been a ticket created". How is it even fathomable to keep someones money when they dont provide the product advertised and purchased? This is not a good company to buy from.Business Response

Money was refunded. Sad that it takes contacting the BBB to have "Simple Tire" refund money rightfully back to a customer. Sad that "their policy won't allow them to refund a customers money with no product delivered" until the American BBB let's them know that in America the policy is not to steal from people.
Simple tire- consider adjusting your "policies" as your complaints mirror my exact scenario.

11/1/2024 - $988.31 - 4 Pirelli Scorpion All Season Plus 3 in stock tires plus installation, shipping/2-day delivery. This company is fraudulent. They charge for tires they never deliver. When you show up to have the install, the installation company says they didn't receive the entire order. Called customer service 2x refuse to transfer to manager. Said can call in 24 hours but that you need to be on standby for 24 hours for a supervisor call after waiting the preliminary 24 hours. They won't put in a new order. Instead they want me to believe that ***** lost 2 tires. ***** says they never received the second set of 2. They refuse to refund my money, put me in a different set of tires, and keep saying someone with the "installation team" will call me back. They supposedly have no ability to speak with a supervisor, no ability to transfer a call, and no ability to call you right back. They make promises to call back that they don't keep. I reuqested a full refund and they told me I would need to wait until they trace the lost tires, which is a lie since they were never sent, and get the two back that were at the installation shop. None of this is my issue so they need to refund me immediately. They refuse.Business Response

On May 17th, 2023. We purchased a set of 4 tires from Simpletire.com. They were shipped to and installed at an approved provider on 05/25/23. On 09/28/24 I took the car in for a routine tire rotation and inspection. Upon inspecting the tires, the service advisor noted that the tires were beginning to show major signs of dry rot on all 4 tires. I contacted Simpletire customer care immediately and provided all details and paperwork required to initiate a warranty claim. So far its been about 6 weeks with no communication or updates about the claim. I contacted ***** *** at ****** tires who has been sending their contact at Simpletire reminders to contact me and Simpletire has not, it has been 2 weeks since this communication with Nokian. I am just looking for a resolution here, its really not fair that I am being given the run around. It is important to know the tires were manufactured in ******************************** May of 2023, so the tires were already 2 years old when they were mounted.Business Response

I bought two tires from you guys and one tire already has a hole on the side wall and the installer are saying they cant install them on my car. I dont have any factory tires and my car is sitting at the shop. I have to buy a tire asap and your people are telling me to send it back. I cant because its on my car they threw the other tires in the trash because they were bad. So I would have to drive my car with these ************ every couple hours to put air in the tires. So I am being charged for car sitting down there 50 dollars a day and wont get the tire to Tuesday. And I also had to pay more for the new tire that will cost me ******. So shopping for tires, found 6 of what I need, enter my address ( ****** ) credit card information etc. final total 1186, I click place order and I get an immediate message from my credit card company saying they tried to charge nearly $5000!To shop for tire on this site you have to enter your zip code, which I did and it showed free **************** customer service and am told there is a $600 per tire shipping fee! No where was that included on the bill and I didnt authorise them to take that much in payment.I would never have ordered them at that price and I feel it was deceptive that they would at no point show me the true cost and just charge my card for what ever they ******* very lucky my card has a purchase limit and didnt let the transaction go through as I dont think they would have refunded me.Business Response

At this time, shipping to ****** is by freight and is $600 per tire. We ran multiple rounds of tests and weren't able to reproduce not displaying the shipping cost, but we have noted the experience in case this comes up again. I ordered and paid for 4 tires on 9/24. Didnt hear from them for 10 days so I emailed and asked for an update. They said there was a pricing and inventory issue on my tires and they cancelled my order and refunded my money without my approval. I look on their website and they still have the tires, just at a much higher price. They offered me a 10% discount to repurchase the same tires at the much higher price. We argued back and forth in emails but they wouldnt just send me the tires I already ordered and paid for. It feels like a bait and switch scam to me. Whatever it is, its absolutely unethical. All I want is the tires I already ordered and paid for, not these higher priced tires.Business Response

We did not have a supplier available at the price that was displayed, so the order was cancelled. This pricing was not close in range to the actual item, and we can't influence suppliers to take a loss - even more so when they run out of product )there is nothing available to take a loss on). I can increase our offer to a 20% discount, but we can't go any higher than that, and will not be able to fulfill the previously cancelled and refunded order.Initial Complaint

I purchased a tire from these crooks almost 2 weeks ago. Their ad said free 4 day shipping.. this was on the 6th. They never sent the police, so I canceled the order, and now, they are refusing to refund my money. I wish I had read the hundreds of bad reviews before they stole my money.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because: These idiots were extremely abusive toward me. They admitted that they don't really sell tires, they simply steal money, and keep it until we give up on trying to get our money back. Their sexual comments just make it worse. When I called them and tried to get my money back, it was extremely obvious that they hate white people. I'm following up with legal action. We have laws in this country for a reason.

On August 14, 2024 I placed an order for four tires they were delivered on August 16, 2024 but two of the tires were damaged to the point wires were showing on one of them. ***** put in that I declined those two tires and took them and shipped them back to the warehouse. I called that same day to order replacements for the two that were damaged. That same evening I called because the tires were to big for my vehicle and I needed to return them they couldnt cancel the shipment of the replacements so I would also need to return those once they were delivered. They sent me four return labels and told me that once the replacements were delivered to go ahead and put the return labels on the four tires and ship them back. On August 20, 2024, I received the two replacement tires. On August 23, 2024 I put all four return labels on the two original tires and the two replacement tires as I was told to do and shipped them out. I was notified on August 26, 2024 that all four tires had been returned back to the warehouse. On September ****** had still not received my refund. I called simple tire and they proceeded to tell me that warehouse did not send out my note to get my refund back. I have had to call four times since then each time I was told I would receive a refund within 24 hours never did. I just called today, September 16, 2024 and now they are saying I did not return the replacement tires. From what Ive gathered, they sent the wrong return labels for the two replacements so now, even though they have all four tires, they are saying they do not have them and now I am out almost $900 total and paying on them as we speak and still have not received a refund. I dont know how I am supposed to return tires that have already been returned but are not registering as returned because of a mishap on simple tire Mind you I have all the proof through ***** that the damaged tires were returned Plus the replacements and the two original tires in my order all have been returned.Business Response

MISREPRESENTATION The site clearly shows the Nexen Winterspike 3 with studs on all of the web pages. The only disclaimer is the wheel is not included. The tires are NOT studded. SimpleTire claims no responsibility and will not pay for installing studs. I expected to receive what was advertised.
