      I am an individual app developer who is owed an $8,064.88 payment as a result of the ***** vs. ******* class action settlement. The Settlement Administrator is Angeion Group. I never received my payment. Angeion claims a check was mailed December 20th 2022, but no check ever arrived. Today I called Angeion, and was told I had to obtain a notarized affidavit before a replacement check would be issued. Then the person I spoke with hung up the phone, and no one has returned my calls. This is unacceptable. Any business can place a stop payment on a check, and then re-issue the check. My request is for Angeion to send a replacement check immediately, with a tracking number.

      I had filed a valid and timely claim in Nautilus Treadmill settlement in April 2022 . My claim ID is ********** I received deficiency notice in Aug 2022 which i promptly responded to and fixed providing the requested details about serial number etc. On oct 7th 2022  i was sent a notice by class admin that my claim has been approved (attached here) and the settlement payment will be sent using the selected method . Unfortunately i meant to select ****** but instead it seems i selected ***** and hence payment failed to process and was returned back to class admin. So i wrote explaining the issue and asked them to reissue to ****** or check They said they will reissue but never did. I checked again and they never responded . I have an approved notice and they still are not sending my payment to me .

      Hello, 

      ***********************'s check was cashed as indicated on the attachment.  I spoke with ******************** after he filed his complaint and he confirmed that he received a notification from the post office that his check was in his mailbox.  He proceeded to cash his check.  I tried several times to follow up with ************ to verify that he did in fact have the check in his possession but he never responded to any of my messages after the first call. I am glad he received and cashed his check.

      This company was the settlement administrator for a class action suit in which my former employer was found at fault for wage theft and was ordered to pay numerous current and former employees for several years of unpaid wages. This settlement was finalized nearly 6 months ago, with payments scheduled to go out in October. In my communications with Angeion, I was told by that I did not need to provide any further information beyond what they already had (mailing addresses, W-9s, etc.) in order to receive my settlement check. October came and went with no check, I called and they told me to wait until mid-November to see if it arrived. It didn’t. I contacted them and they then told me that they miscommunicated and that I did need to fill out a W-9, but that if I filled it out and returned it ASAP, they would get my check to me as a quickly as possible, and the representative assured me that he’d keep me updated on the process. He also stated that, due to the W-9 miscommunication, I should have been part of the initial October batch of mailings and should not necessarily have to wait for the next batch to go out — my check would be sent on its own. Well, it’s been over a month later, and Angeion does not return my phone calls or emails. They are withholding money that my former employer already withheld from me for 7+ years and I demand a timely response from these people. Absolutely sick of this.

      Hello This is regarding ******, et al. v. ******************************** *** settlement. I never received my check and asked the class admin to reissue. They asked me to sign an affidavit which i already completed and sent and said they will reissue and never followed up . When i kept pestering them them they send me an email one day that they have already sent the check and now is the last day to reissue . I have never received any check and why are they wilting till last day to tell me this . This email is really absurd and complete lies being used by them to keep my money.

      I am rejecting this response because the company is extremely dishonest and corrupt organization. They have lied to me several times on email . Here again they are saying that the check was reissued in November but their own email records which i have a copy of said check was reissued in october. When i wrote to them again about they the check never being sent or received they ignored my request multiple times. Next they said they have written to me 2 times which is again false. they responded only recently after i filed a BBB complaint and that too withe single line that they just received the affidavit while their own email confirmation on record says they have the affidavit since August 2022. They keep playing these games with claimants and never send out the check . I want to see them reissue my check to the correct updated address *** * **** **  Apt ***, New York, NY ***** before closing out this BBB complaint. Please keep this open until the check is received

      I received a settlement check in the amount of $4,440.50 that was sent on 11-21-2020. I held the check waiting on the balance to be sent. There was supposed to be in the neighborhood of another $11,000.00 to follow. I actually forgot the check so I called Angieon about the expired check. I was informed by a ********************* to mail it back and a new check would be issued. That did not happen. I left several unanswered messages for ***** to never get a reply. I was then told an employee by the name of ******* had taken over so I started calling her. Finally I was told that she had talked to ***** and my check would be sent and I would receive an e-mail showing it had been sent overnight delivery. That did not happen either. Once again I called *******. She said she would check on it and call me back. That did not happen either. When I called her, she informed me that ********************* had told her the check had been sent and cashed. I requested and was told that I would receive an e-mail from ***** as proof. I did not receive or cash the check nor did I receive any proof. ******* said I would get an authorization to submit to their bank for re-issue of so called check. That again did not happen. I filed a complaint with the attorney general of Indiana office and have received nothing. This is nothing more than a scam. I would rather they just told you they were going to cheat you out of the money but they buy time by keeping you dangling with the payment carrot.
