    On 10/18/24 I met with **** an estimate on moving boxes and furniture from Storage Sense. I was given a $500 quote to move on 10/31/24. I put down a $200 deposit. On the day of the move the movers refused to move my belongings. They claimed that there was mold on the furniture. I was told to call the office to get a refund. I called and they hung up on me. I got the manager of Storage Sense to look at the furniture. There was some mildew. She cleaned it and mitigated the issue. I again called the movers they said I was NOT getting a refund because they showed up and cancelled! I had to pay someone else to move my belongings. I would like a full refund as per the verbal agreement. The accessor **** never said anything about mildew when I got the quote. Cadden caused me a great financial, emotional and mental strain after being homeless for 7 months and overcoming it. ******** *******, the manager of Storage Sense is willing to testify to what happened.     I am rejecting this response because: The company is lying in their response. I was never told that the deposit was non refundable. They never called me. I called them twice! They never tried to rectify their actions after I was given a verbal agreement that I would be refunded. They now accept that it was a little mildew. Not mold! Stealing from and lying to customer's is unacceptable and unethical. I want a full refund.

    I'm not wasting any more time on this. The customer knowingly and willingly signed and initialed the estimate/order for service via DocuSign. And it CLEARLY states non-refundable deposit. As stated in the letter, mildew and/or mold present a respiratory health issue not only for my workers but also for current and future customers. The signed estimate/order for service was attached in my initial response. 

    Additionally, as Ms. *** stated she called in here a few times after the crews departure. It was during the initial call that the option for us to return was given. This option was approved by the owner and relayed to Ms. *** by the receptionist *******. Ms. *** declined to accept our return visit.
