      I understand Grid One Solutions is a subcontractor for Rochester Gas and Electric, for installation of "smart meters."

      On 10/11/23, a person showed up at our residence in upstate NY to install smart meters on behalf of RGE. The arrival was unscheduled and there was no appointment. At that time, I was involved in an important business related video conference, and since the meters were in the basement of house with access only from inside house, I informed tech that the meter could not be installed at that time.

      He handed me a "door card" with phone # to call Grid One to arrange installation.

      My wife call Grid One on 10/13/23, and was told the schedule was full and there was no time available; the rep said a supervisor would be notified, and supervisor would call.

      By 10/18/23, the call never came. My wife called Grid One, and after a wait time of approximately 30 minutes, she was told they did not do installation in our area, and to call RGE. She called RGE and was attempting to work through the problem, but since the account was in my name, RGE was unwilling to do anything unless I called.

      On 10/19/23, I called RGE to attempted to get visit scheduled...some of the demographic in our account file was not correct, was transferred to another rep who did not know why they were involved and connection was lost. Regardless, I was advised that RGE did not schedule meter installations, and to call Grid One.

      On 10/19/23, I called Grid One, and after a wait time exceeding 1 hour, I was told Grid One did not have my account and could not schedule appointment. I asked to speak to a supervisor, and this request was denied. I was told supervisor would call; as of this writing I have not received a call.

      I was finally able to work through problem with RGE, and able to bypass Grid One altogether.

      This review probably won't due any good, but customer service was terrible...the promised return calls did not occur, easier to blow me off than to help fix problem.
