      In May 2024 I hired this company for a monument, tombstone, for my husband burial site at ******************************* in **********, ********. The church had listed this company as monument company. I paid this company in full close to ******** . I certainly regret that now. Anytime I reach **** Alberici he promises me monument will be ready in a few weeks. He says the monument was ordered last September by the Stone company. And then as soon as it comes in, the engraving will be done and monument will be installed at the gravesite.But now it is a year and I do not have a monument for my husband. In the past month, he has been completely unresponsive. Im concerned he has stolen my money and not going to return it. There is a lack of transparency. He knew when I hired him last May that my two young daughters who have to grow up without their father really want to have a monument at the gravesite. He acted like he was very sympathetic, but he has taken my money and he is should be put out of business immediately.

      I met and signed a contract with Griffith-Alberici Monument on 10/2/23 and the total price paid for the monument and foundation was $8963.00. On that date I was told the monument would be installed in the April/May 2024 timeframe. To date, I have never received a phone call or E-mail with a progress update. I have made a number of calls in 2024 to **** **** only to be told lies about delivery, engraving and installation. No customer support ever provided! It has been a very frustrating experience. My husband passed away on May 22, 2023 and I am still waiting to hear an update. I did not expect to be dealing with this and still have no answers in early 2025.I have been dealing with **** *. Gold, Owner ************.

      Paid nearly $4,000 on April 9th and still have not received a proof for my mothers headstone after more than 4 months. I have followed up multiple times to ask for an update, was recently told they lost the photo I emailed and was asked to resend it. I resent it two weeks ago and have received no response. It has been too long, I dont want to continue chasing updates. I would like a refund so I can go somewhere else.

      Thank you very much for this update and for your attempts and helping. While I finally received a response from the company, I am still encountering the same issues. I sent back a reply to their draft headstone template on Sept 7 and once again have not heard back although it has been 2 1/2 weeks. So the issues continue, unfortunately.

      In May 2023 my family received a solicitation in US Mail from Griffith-******** Monument *** for engraving of my family cemetery monument after the passing of my father (a military veteran). I paid $644 for the engraving. In July 2023 the engraving work was completed. Due to illness with my mother, I was not able to inspect the work until approximately September 2023 - at this time I discovered the engraving was on the wrong side of the monument. Note that the contract twice specifies the correct side; additionally, the ground was clearly disturbed (little to no grass) on the correct side of the monument at the time of the engraving. I have called or met with the owner 6 times since the time I discovered the error to correct the error, an additional time I spoke with another representative. I have also left voicemail. They do not get back to me when they say they will, necessitating additional contacts from me, and the timing for when the work will be corrected is continually moving. Most recently, they said the corrective work would be complete during the week of July 1st 2024 and that they would call me to let me know the work was done I specifically asked whether the July 4th holiday would create a problem for completing this work, to which they said no. It has been approximately one year since this mistake was made with no progress made on correcting it. As of the time of this complaint, no work has been completed to my knowledge.Proof of ****************** are attached; personal info has been blocked out)To resolve the complaint, since Oct 2023 we have talked about removing approx 1/4 inch of the monument (on the side where the engraving was incorrectly made). After the work is complete, call me, and my family would inspect the work; if the monument looks ok (e.g., not obviously asymmetric), we would consider proceeding with engraving. If the work did not look ok, we will talk out what to do next.

      I ordered a headstone for my mother on October 28, 2022 and paid in full at the time of purchase. I was originally told To expect the stone in the spring. Then it went into the summer months - now it has been over a year now and still no headstone has been delivered. He claims that he has the stone, but I have never seen it. He also apparently ordered the stone without showing me the proof so I could approve that the dates were correct and names spelled properly. I have been given the run around from *****. I am the one that consistently follows up to get any updates. He promises return calls but never calls when he says he will and always has a new and ridiculous excuse as to why the stone is not there.I have asked for a refund multiple times and receive more and more excuses. I would like the stone delivered or a full refund so I can place the order with a more reputable Company that will actually Deliver the product for which I paid.
