      Was charged for checking regulator system. $421 for 1.2 hours work. The service man took only 10 minutes to check system, if that. Was never told about a service call charge. The gentleman was there that long, but we were talking about person family business. Had nothing to due with why I called Amerigas. Called them to complain. They said they would get back to me. But, they never did.

      I have been the account holder for 10 plus years. They tried to deliver propane without the 24 hr email notification. (We are 1 hour out of town) said they couldn't find the tank. No kidding? They couldn't even access the property!!!!. I called and they said I'm not on the account! Asked to speak with my dead parents! They were sent death cert YEARS ago. Would not let me reorder. How come they were able to make the original order!? I was on the account three days ago. Unfortunately it's a conglomerate so I'm probably stuck with them and that is 100 % of the problem.

      I called for someone to come out to look at the tank and give an idea about having it moved (they installed it where it shouldn't have been installed). The technician came out, walked around and said new location would be too far for truck to fill, and left. I got an invoice for $243 (dispatch fee and site survey). I was never informed there would be any charges and after several calls, they would not take the site survey cost off even though nothing was done nor reported. I was offered a $25 discount. I asked about cancelling my service as a result of this bad customer service and I was informed that would cost me about $420 (dispatch fee and $299 tank removal fee). They just don't care. Their customer service department (where ever it is) is lacking people who can speak English and those people don't understand that continually saying "I hope you are having a wonderful day" while being asked about wrong charges, don't help the situation. If there was a good way out of this, I'd be gone. Maybe when the tank is empty I'll look at this again. BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY AND THEIR CREDIBILITY

      Amerigas was given 48 hours notice to pick up a leased tank from my home on 7/14/25, I called them on 7/23/25 for the 3rd time to ask why they hadn't picked up the tank. They made excuses and said it was my fault for not scheduling the pickup. What was the point of the 48 hours to pickup notice? I told them it's not my responsibility if the tank gets stolen, and they threatened me that if the tank isn't there on the 28th!!! when they have the pick up scheduled, that they'll turn my into collections for the lease. This business has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I have lived in ******* for 26 years, and this is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. BUYER BEWARE!

      DO NOT USE AMERIGAS!!!! I called end of April to cancel my contract and to have my tank removed by May 5th. They finally showed up June 2nd and charged me $420. Now mind you I have been a customer for over *****. Once I received a email bill I turned off my budget payment and removed my banking info. They had charged me for a fill in 2-28-25 when I had just had a fill on 1-26-25. I contacted AMERIGAS customer service it was horrible couldnt understand 1st rep, 2nd rep wasnt any better asked to speak to her super and she told me theres no one above me. My bill included the fill I didnt get, a $420 pickup fee and a yrs rental fee. I asked for a paper bill to be mailed cause I get emails, but have not received one. AMERIGAS is the worse of the worse. Oh, they tried to convince me the ****** fill was for ******. When the fill in January and the fill etc after that were all in 2025 guess they thought I was an idiot.

      Unbelievably bad customer service. Have spent probably 8 hours going over bills with them. I said there was NO WAY my bill could be this high. I live alone and most of the times my condo is vacant due to my travels. My bill is twice my neighbors, who live there full time and are a family of 5. Amerigas sends out a technician to read the meter and confirms it is correct (and they charged me for this). Eventually I find out they are charging me nearly double the rate they are supposed to. They also told me to pay only when they actually read the meter, which is only 2 times a year. They estimate in-between and estimated over 110 gallons more than I used in just one month! Told to just pay when they read the meter. Now have late fees they won't waive! I see ***** reviews on yelp, and 95% are 1 star. I understand why.

      AmeriGas has extremely fraudulent business practices! Every year they send me a bill for a "service call" that never actually happened! This year they claim it's a state required inspection, but the thing is, I was home and outside in the garden all day the day they claimed to have come. NO ONE CAME!! They are just trying to get money out of my under the pretense of an inspection that a) never happened, and b) could be completed by the guys who come fill the tank every month! Do not use this company! I refuse to pay them for this ***** **** for something that they didn't even show up to do, and didn't give me any notification that it was something they were going to do.

      Beware of Amerigas. We had them since we moved in in 2019. They have slowly been increasing their prices. Last bill was $4.19 per gallon. So we switched to Economy Heating. Called Amerigas to cancel service/future deliveries and have them come pick up the tank. They are charging a $300 fee for tank pickup and a $120 fee for cancellation service fee. What the heck!! Fortunately, the savings with Economy Heating will pay for that before the first year is even up.

      Needed my tank moved 20 feet, was quoted $119.99, ended up being billed another $299.99. I disputed the second charge and was sent an email saying there was nothing they could do even though I was not made aware of the ungodly amount up front. Switched to a small propane company and told them to come and get their tank. I was charged another $419.99 after they picked up the tank. I disputed it again and while waiting for a response was slapped with a $36 late fee! Very Predatory behavior and the poster child for corporate GREED! Beware of this company and their ILLEGAL scams.

      Billed for services not ask for and billed for closing the service ,even after medical explain issues we had ********************************************************************************************** any other way not to have to use this service again ,been on phone for 30 minutes ,waiting ,a couple times ,only good thing is the delivery person were always good ,but customer service or management is not .
