This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. After numerous issues, I'm now waiting for the tank, FULL of propane, to be picked up. It's been sitting in my yard for 2 months and today I'm told it will be another 2 months. In the meantime, I continue to be harassed to pay the bill for the over priced propane that was never used and sitting here for return. It's a nightmare trying to speak to anyone who can make a decision. After dozens of calls, I've yet to receive competent service. Love how they call the employees, experienced customer ADVOCATES...what a joke. The ********************** should be shut down. If I could have picked zero stars, I would have.

Terrible company. Avoid at all costs! Literally the worst in so many ways.

These people are sheer criminals. It was a nightmare dealing with them for the 3+ years I had service with them. My bills are always paid on time. There was 75% in the tank when I discontinued service. The new owners continued service with them so I should be refunded. They have been promising me a refund since early December. It is now mid-April. Numerous phone calls to them, every time speaking with someone who, though they can speak English, do not comprehend English at all. Now that I read the reviews it is clear this is intentional. They are CRIMINALS. Please please please do not use Amerigas. Use a local company and stay far far away from this illegitimate business. I had issues with the initial hook up and ongoing problems with the tank while I had service with them. This is the icing on the cake.

I would like to give them a -5 if I could. I canceled my auto delivery because I was moving but they came and filled my tanks anyway so I move and I get a bill so I called them and told them I do not live there anymore and they said that they would take care of it this went on for months so I call again and they said it would be taken care of well it wasn't because today I get another bill so I call again and I give up because I have them were I live now I need help to get these people off my back

IF I COULD GIVE THEM A 0 I WOULD. AFTER 20 YEARS BEING A CUSTOMER BACK WHEN IT WAS ** ********************** I'M DONE. NEVER ON TIME, LIE CONSTENTLY, DIFFERENT PRICE FOR EVERYONE ***************. CAN'T GET THE PRICING RIGHT. NO ONE SPEAKS ENGLISH. THEY ALWAYS SAY SORRY, BUT STILL NO CORRECTION. I HAD TO CALL 21 TIMES SO FAR THIS YEAR FOR CORRECTIONS WHICH ARE NEVER SOLVED. NOW I AM GOING WITH ANOTHER COMPANY AND AMERIGAS AFTER 20 YEARS IS GOING TO CHARGE ME $199.00 TO PICK UP THERE OWN TANK. WTF..... I WAS TOLD UNDER NO CERCUMSTANCES WILL THEY WAVE THAT. DO "NOT" GET INVOLVED WITH THIS COMPANY.

Worst customer service. The tank looked awful in our front yard. Requested painting. They told us to paint it ourselves. lol. So we decided to switch companies and they charged us with a pickup fee. **************** said they tell customers this but they didnt. Cant even understand what they are saying due to language differences. They also said it was a $199.98 bill but they added $100 to that too. I would never go with this company again. We have been loyal customers for over 20 years.

You should be ashamed of your business practices. You withdraw money from people without ANY service provided. THEN when asked why you promptly refund ONLY A PORTION of the money you illegally withdrew from credit card accounts. YOU SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN!Just so you know, I will gladly tell ANYONE that asks about Amerigas exactly what kind of a shady underhanded company you are.

Horrible experience. Paid for an emergency fill fee. Was not provided propane without the emergency fill period (3 days). Pre-paid online. After five months I still have yet to receive a refund credit. Was told the charge could not be reversed on my credit card purchase and that check would be received in 4-6 weeks (each time I called over the five month period). **************** said a check was in the mail or simple hung up when asked to be forward to a supervisor. Ended cancelling my account. Yet to receive the refund credit from my account. Save yourself the headache and find a propane provider that actually values its customers.

Negative stars if there were such a thing.My property had a tank that was installed by a previous supplier in 2009, which Amerigas acquired around 2016. The service from the previous supplier was always terrible (less than 1 star) but Amerigas somehow managed to take this to another level. Terrible customer service, terrible service, late deliveries, overbilling, you name it this disreputable company does it.On at least 2 occasions during the cold season in ** they almost let the tank run dry. When I called them on it, they took a minimum of 7 days to send someone out to fill the tank. It was at this point that I decided to dump this supplier but that was only the beginning.When the new propane company contacted them to purchase the tank, they stated that they do not sell their tanks. OK, so the new supplier dug up the tank and replaced it free of charge. Of course, this is not the end of the story with this terrible supplier.I called them to come pick up the tank which was now sitting in my yard, and they said they'd pick it up in about 10 days. I month later I called them again, we'll escalate it and pick it up in less than 5 days. 3 months later I called again, we'll escalate it and pick it up right away. Four months later they picked up the tank and 3 weeks later they send me a $300 dollar bill for picking up the tank less the 25 gallons of propane still in the tank.It's pretty clear this company does not care about keeping their customers and they are happy to overcharge you for the disservice.

Amerigas does not keep their promises to it's customers. Although repeatedly promising to notify me the day prior to ALL deliveries, they once again failed. Obviously they cannot be trusted to keep their word
