    Spent $20K on a Home Theater system that has never worked right. Video signals drop off, Control4 Universal remote doesn’t work consistently, the speaker set up was overpriced and sounded so weak that I had to supplement the front L-R speakers and the Center Channel with Subwoofers to finally deliver adequate sound.

    This client bought a system nearly 2 years ago and has not informed us that the system was not functioning in 11 months. As this is outside of our warranty period, we quoted service rates. Additionally, the original system had a new cable box installed that was causing the problem to our knowledge based on the initial request for service. We offered the client a 1 hour complimentary service call and let them know if it was related to a product not installed by us, it would not be warranty, and if it was our product it would be covered for the trip fee and 1st hour. As a company we provided a 1 year warranty which the client agreed to, and now is unhappy that 11 months past his warranty he is not covered and did not let us know sooner.
