I bought a house in September 2010 that had just had Mi Windows installed in a renovation. These double pane Mi windows are visually obstructed due to seal failure. I do not have the receipt but Mi Windows admits they are their windows as I gave the them a picture of the warranty tags that are still on the windows. They told me they have a manufacture date of 2008. Mi Windows has a lifetime warranty. It shouldn't matter if I have the receipt if they know the defective windows are theirs. I want what the warranty states, either replacement or a payment. Thanks, *****************************

I purchased my new home in February of 2021, and was made aware of the defective windows immediately by the previous owner. According to MI Windows Warranty from 2005-2009, the windows are warranted for 20 years, unless the home is sold in the first 5 years after product purchase, then it converts to a 5 year commercial warranty. However, once I reached out to MI Windows, they are telling me that "because I am a subsequent homeowner" there is no warranty that is valid, and they need me to give them every size of window & door in my house "to see if there is anything they can do about a discount". All of my windows are entirely foggy on the inside of the insulated glass because the window seal failed, you cannot see out of them clearly due to this fog, this is a safety hazard. This home was built in 2008 (when windows were purchased). The home was then sold in 2015 which is 7 years later. These windows should be warranted until 2028.
