In October 2023 I received a text message from National Recovery Agency NRA stating that I have an outstanding debt with ******* ******* for medication sent on 2023-08-06 and need to pay them. Invoice # ************ a/c # ********. I immediately contacted ******* ******* about the matter and they checked their records and told me I do NOT owe them any money. I checked back with NRA and told them what ******* ******* said and they stated that I need to get a statement from ******* ******* stating my balance. I sent NRA an email with the statement from ******* ******* stating I have a zero balance. NRA then sent me a letter with a print out dated 2025-07-31 showing that I owe $25. We were still in 2023 but the statement date says 2025. ******* ******* did not send me and medication on that date and the statement provided by express script showed that all my meds were paid. I have been going back and forth with NRA and ******* ******* and NRA refuses to remove my name from their list. I am unable to communicate directly with the billing department at ******* *******. To date the matter has not been resolved. Thanking you in advance for your attention to the matter.

Since August of this last year, representatives from the National Recovery Agency have been calling, texting, and sending me letters to collect on a significant debt that they claim I owe. Although the company claims to follow Fair Debt Collection Practices Act rules, I had to write them two letters, and call more than 3 times (each time clicking through ten minutes of voice prompts), for them to acknowledge their responsibility to provide me with documentation of this debt they claim I have. Not until months into the process did I discover that NRA had filed a claim with a credit reporting agency, putting a huge hit on my credit score before they even contacted me for the first time. But here's the problem. Now six months into their "debt collection" process, NRA has been unable to provide me with documentation of this alleged debt, and repeatedly claimed they had not received my previous communications demanding such documentation, possibly to avoid their legal duties under the FDCPA. I have reached out to the business they claim to have purchased the debt from--and they tell me I have no unpaid balance with them--I have reached out to my insurance company--and they tell me the same thing--but NRA continues to insist I owe them this money, while equally continuing to say they don't have the documentation to prove it. And so I continue to have a seriously damaged credit score, and they say the only way I get rid of the report is to pay them what they say I owe, or provide them with my own documentation that I don't owe the debt, which is impossible because it never existed. Every time I speak to a representative on the phone, they try to get me on audio recording saying that I do in fact acknowledge the debt, even though I have always disputed it in my letters and phone calls to them. It is a cynical and unfair game, and they know the credit hit is a serious consequence that I have to live with.

I've received text messages from this group asking for information regarding a debt. They've given me no information on who owes or what is owed and would like whatever account was opened in my name to be closed and they stop contacting me. I've had 2 reports of my information being accessed from data breaches through my doctors office and a prior job I've worked for where social security, and very private information was stolen. At this time I was told by legal representation to freeze and hold accounts and to remove any new accounts including debt collection accounts. I ask that this account be closed
