This company has added some random bill from ************ to my credit report. I have disputed it and they will not remove it. THIS IS NOT MY BILL. I am a 65-year-old woman and have lived in a home in ************** **** for 42 years, ************** has their own utility company and I have had my name on an electric bill for 42 years. I would have no reason to use ************* These people are rude and how can they randomly put something on your collections without notifying and verifying it is a debt I owe. I do not have an attorney and that is NOT what they were told They were told I have family members that are attorneys and to randomly accuse someone of a bill that does not belong to them as in my case is unacceptable. Imagine one day getting an alert that something was added as a collection to your credit. NO documentation No phone calls No letters in the mail. *** a company that has scammed people before. I honestly dont get why NRA Group LLC is reporting this debt under my name because I dont owe them anything. I never signed anything with them, and when I asked for a copy of the original application, they didnt even bother to provide it. Its frustrating because this is hurting my credit for no reason, and its just not fair. 6/17/2025 received a fraudulent collections claim from this company for the total of $500.00 reported on my credit report. Phone number they have listed will ask you a to press 1 2 or 3 depending on what you need. press 3 for questions about an item reported on your credit report, it then hangs up on you. called 3 times at 3:40pm 3:41pm and 3:43pm. unable to get a human being on the phone to tell me what this is in reference to. to the best of my knowledge i am not delinquent on any accounts. this lowered my credit score 43 points.Business Response

I received a notification that this company placed something on my credit report. I did not receive a letter or a phone call about this issue I called the number I googled and got a representative she stated that they have a issue more than 100 people have called stating that this is incorrect and and fraud I asked for a manager got ***** he was rude and stated that they are waiting on the client I advised him that he needed to submit a request to have this deleted he hung up I have no account number nothing and they placed 500 on my credit report for 123 ******** and I never had a loan with them this needs to be removed or I will be doing legal action for fraudBusiness Response

On June 12, 2025, I received a text message from ************. It stated it was to my name, and my address, with an account number ******** (please note, the account number does not match my account number at this medical practice - ********. It said "National Recovery Agency is a debt collector attempting to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose. This number doesn't reply to text messages, except for STOP to unsubscribe. Creditor: South Jersey Gastroenterology; Reference: 8523; Date of Notice: 06/02/25; Dispute Deadline: 07/17/25; Debt Origination: 01/02/25; Amount Owed as of 01/02/25: $889.00; Interest amount: $0.00; Fees: $0.00; Payments and Credits: $867.85; Total Debt Amount: $21.15. To make a payment please visit ******************************************************************************************************************************************* National Recovery Agency ***************************************** Email ************************************************ ************** This number doesn't reply to text messages. NRA Group, A Debt Collector: We understand that setbacks happen. Visit *************************************** to pay or call ************ for help. This number doesn't reply to text messages, except for STOP to unsubscribe." Some of the information online was conflicting about who this entity was and it appeared fraudulent. As a result, I called South Jersey Gastroenterology who advised that my account was fully paid and my balance was $0. Also, they said they work exclusively with *************** for debt collection purposes and that IC would contact me if there was a valid debt - not National Recovery. The phone number for ** did not match the phone number in my text. As a result, I've concluded this is fraudulent. I replied "STOP" to unsubscribe. Also, the consumer is citing 15 U.S.C. 1692g(b), demanding proof of legal standing. That is not part of 15 U.S.C. 1692g(b), which states the following: If the consumer notifies the debt collector in writing within the thirty-day period described in subsection (a) that the debt, or any portion thereof, is disputed, or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor, the debt collector shall cease collection of the debt, or any disputed portion thereof, until the debt collector obtains verification of the debt or a copy of a judgment, or the name and address of the original creditor, and a copy of such verification or judgment, or name and address of the original creditor, is mailed to the consumer by the debt collector. Collection activities and communications that do not otherwise violate this subchapter may continue during the 30-day period referred to in subsection (a) unless the consumer has notified the debt collector in writing that the debt, or any portion of the debt, is disputed or that the consumer requests the name and address of the original creditor. Any collection activities and communication during the 30-day period may not overshadow or be inconsistent with the disclosure of the consumers right to dispute the debt or request the name and address of the original creditor. ***Attached is the Validation Letter that was sent to the consumer on 2-26-2025.
