May 2, 2021 - Present. I engaged with Mountain Abstract, Inc. to perform a Quiet Title Action on a property that I purchased as a tax sale in Greentown, PA. This process was under the suggestion of Mountain Abstract, Inc. The process was to take 3-4 months in total. I later learned that the work was delegated out to a 3rd party law firm by Mountain Abstract. I have reached out numerous times to John J****** and also his Assistant at Mountain Abstract to try and get a status on the process being that we are now 10 months post the engagement date and have well exceeded the original 4 month expectation/estimate. Mr. J******* responds back to my inquiries that he will reach out to the 3rd party law firm and get back to me with a status, however he never follows through. I have tried to be patient, give the benefit of the doubt due to COVID impact on business and also realize my project probably doesn't rise to a high priority level. However, I am at a point where I am willing to part ways with no hard feelings and end the engagement for this matter. All that I am seeking is some information and a definitive answer on the remaining timeline and whether any work has been done related to the process. I have explained this to Mr. J********, however, I never seem to get a follow up.
