In March2021, we sought out to get an inground swimming pool -we were referred to Haas pools and Spas. Dustin came out March 20, 2021 to survey our land and explain what options were available to us. We decided to wait at that time and then reached out to him in August 2021. He said there was a 30 week lead time to order pools du to the pandemic, but if we ordered then, we would be ready for install spring of 2022. On August 16, 2021, I met hi wife Nicole inButler and gave her a cashier’s check for $20,000to order the pool. Spring of 2022 came and Haas Pools and Spas did not reach out to us. I had to reach out to them several times via texts, emails and phone class to see when they would begin digging. Everything thatDustin said he would take care of was a lie- he never got the building permit started and in May 2022, I ad to go to the township building to get the process started. The building permit was obtained June 4, 2022-of which I had to pay out of pocket for. I ad to keep reaching out to Dustin to see when they were to start digging. He would avoid phone calls, texts and emails. Finally, on June 27, 2022, they started to dig ground for the pool. July 7, 2022, another cashier’s check was given to Haas Pools for $32,500 as the pool walls were up and according to contract, that is when the second payment was due. The pool sat with dirt in it until July 16, 2022. That is where they showed up to do the pool Crete o the pool bottom. That project finished on July 30, 2022, and the pool was tapped to protect pool bottom. again, no contact fromHaas Pools. Emails, texts, phone calls-responses would be -“on another call” “ I’ll call back but we would not receive a call back. We had to seek legal advice from Charlton Law Services and we were advise to NOT pay haas Pools any further money until the equipment was delivered and the pool was complete. After several firm texts to haas Pools, the equipment was delivered and only by having the electrician’s number, did we get water in pool and the pump hooked up along with the heater on Labor Day Weekend. Haas Pools did not come finish the grading and the seeding as per our contract. We had to finish it ourselves in October, and therefore, we did not pay them the final 5% owed to them. When we opened the pool in April 2023, we noticed that the benches were caved in and attempted to reach out to Haas Pools. They would not respond back. He finally sent Chad Krawczyk out the the house to assess the situation. Chad and Dustin had. Phone call at our house-which Chad had placed on speaker phone and Chad explained the since the benches were not backfilled with pool Crete, along with the steps to enter the pool, the force of the water freezing in the winter “snapped the weld of the center of the pool. Chad gave an estimate of $3000.00 to repair the pool. We were going to pay Chad out of our pocket, but was to be re-I burned by Haas Pools. We have been a victim of waiting on him and we wanted to be able to have our pool open and ready by May 2023. Chad would come here and there and we paid him on services rendered - but he didn’t finish the job. We had to drain the entire water out of the pool and the liner had to be pulled back to complete repairs. Haas”s attorney, Jonathon M********, had reached out to us starting that we had owed Haas money for the concrete around the pool- which we had our own concrete guy - and that was removed out of the contract. Haas Pools is a shady business. We were robbed our summer last year and he has yet to contact us to pay us for the repairs we had to do. We sent a certified letter and a regular letter by mail on May 15, 2023- which came back to us . Nobody was there to sign nor did anyone go to pick it up at the post office. He letter returned to our residence June 13, 2023. HaasPools and Spas are thieves- we know of several other cases against him where he has taken people’s money.

Gave a deposit of $16,800 in February 2021 to install a pool. We were told we would be on the schedule for 2021. Throughout the next months we were told there were delays getting materials due to Covid. October 2021 came and we were still waiting on a liner so we would be installed 2022. We asked for a start date multiple times but was just told Spring. We were told in February 2022 they would be calling soon to give us a start date but they never called. Finally was told in March that we were scheduled for mid April if weather was good. Mid April came and we were told the ground was too wet to dig. We were told in May they would be starting soon and asked us to check on permits which was something he said he would do. A couple weeks later we found out the owner never called or tried to apply for permits with our township and we told him we knew he never applied. He gave us his wife's number to work with her on the permits. A couple weeks later they still never applied. Finally they applied for the municipal and building permits but never paid the fees. They sent someone out to deliver the walls and stairs but forgot the coping for us to paint. Paid an additional $12,600. In June the municipal permit was paid and sent but they still didn't pay the building permit fee. A couple weeks later they paid the fee but still didn't submit one more application. The owner's wife stated he was in a horrible dirt bike accident and couldn't work and she would try her best to keep us on track. We were told once permits were given they would start but in mid July they had yet to submit the final application to get the permit despite confirming receipt of the application form. We filled out the application ourselves and got the permit. We were told they would be starting soon and as of today haven't heard from them since. We would like to talk to someone else who hired them to see if we're the only ones having problems ************************

On January 8, 2021, owner writes that "I still have you on our priority list in spring. Let's revisit the proposal and get it executed so that we can order and get you on the schedule." February 1, 2021 - Proposal executed. Deposit of $35,000 provided on 2/3/21 to place pool kit order and get on the schedule. Pool kit not ordered until April. No receipt provided upon deposit even though promised. Multiple requests for receipt not responded to. No receipt to this date as of May 2022. In March 2021, owner writes that "Installs are going great and permits are quick in Peters Twp." In July 2021, owner states "still waiting on permit from the twp." It has been confirmed with the township planning department that the permit application was submitted on Oct 18, 2021, approved on November 2, 2021 and picked up and paid for on March 23, 2022. Owner didn't even order liner until August 2021 Multiple requests to meet with owner to discuss the project over many months so that we could review questions that we had and could be proactive and not have anything holding up the project. No meetings with project team even though we have documented response that he will have his guys out soon to discuss. March 7, 2022 - Meeting with two subcontractors that perform work for Owner (excavation and pool kit installer) that state that this is not his primary business, his primary job is as a general contractor that performs retail construction for clients like Taco Bell, etc. He has only been doing this pool business on the side for maybe 2 years. They state that every customer has the same complaints - no communication and lack of planning to execute projects. Owner didn't even apply for the permit until 10/18/21 Permit approved 11/2/2021; Permit picked up 3/23/2022 May 2022, project not compete Last contact with owner by email: 9/27/21; Have sent him emails as recent as 3/11/22, no response

August 2020 we paid a down payment of $32000 and were promised a pool, concrete and fence in 7-10 days. November they broke ground and nothing happened until March due to winter but then they disrupted our wetlands, didn’t create a settlement slope according to Twp code, installed an unsafe slide to enter 3 ft of water instead of 4.5 ft, didn’t provide an option for antislip pool steps so now we have unsafe slippery steps. Didn’t give us the option of fiberglass steps for the latter so instead gave us an inconvenient latter that we have to lift out of the pool every time we close the auto cover. After realizing he had more work to do besides pool, concrete and fence he abandoned the job site for 6 weeks with no communication and last we heard he was out of town. In total we spent $85000 out of $116000 and he wanted 100% paid before the project was finished. We need the slide fixed to a safe level of water, repair damage towards the wetlands, provide safe pool steps and fix ladder
