      Ally Bank is one of the most horrible banks. I have several different accounts with them. I have excellent credit and applied for a car loan though them and the dealership said they kept giving different reasons why Ally couldnt complete my loan. I addressed the first issue they gave me. Then, Ally created any other issue. I called and talked to about 12 different employees, supervisors, the escalation team, and on for almost two hours. One even hung up the phone on me in the processing center. Never, never, ever use Ally Bank for anything! Dont be fooled into thinking that creating a relationship and opening many accounts will make a difference. Their CEO, ***, and COO need to be fired and their board of directors need to start over with different leadership that will create a customer helpful atmosphere and who will fire the many managers, escalation members, and employees that need to be fired to create a better culture than the ones the current failing leadership has created.

      I recommend you never experience a hardship. They will not work with you at all, plus the interests rate is super high. Also they are trying to hold my stuff and won't pick up the phone. I was told collections will not talk to me

      I am filing this complaint regarding Ally Banks mishandling of my debit card replacement ********** June 2025, I contacted Ally Bank to request a new debit card, as my existing card was set to expire in three weeks. Rather than simply sending me a replacement, Ally Bank immediately closed my current debit card without warning or my consent.This unexpected closure left me without access to my funds and caused significant inconvenience and stress, as I rely on my debit card for essential daily expenses. At no point did I request that my card be deactivated prior to receiving a new one.I contacted Ally Banks customer service to address this issue, but the resolution was inadequate and did not prevent the immediate disruption to my account access.

      I have never dealt with such a predatory business in my entire lifetime. Try to call these people before you do business with them. Youre gonna be subjected to all kind of ************ its a predatory business and theres no question about that. Ive been doing business with them for years and years and I currently have a auto loan my own. Im a 17 year cancer survivor and I wind up in the hospital and was late on one payment Every single payment for years I have paid before they were due. They didnt give me credit for that but let me go in the hospital and be late on one payment and they ripped my **** as a credit bureau. Thats the company youre getting ready to get money from you will not be able to contact them after you get money I promise you do it. Try it before you get the loan or invest in this predatory business. Im paying my loan off in full today. Ill never never never never do business with a predatory business

      Ally Bank closed my checking account without giving me a valid reason for it. It caused a lot of trouble, and I am simply posting this to give my "two cents."

      Ally has this many negative reviews for a good reason, avoid them at all costs. Trying to complete just about any action on their website aside from sending them money results in a generic error code and forces you to call in where you will be greeted by someone who barely speaks English and gives you incorrect information. The auto leasing process through Ally is incredibly confusing and overly complicated when the lease comes to an end. They shouldn't be allowed to conduct business in the **** anymore.

      I am writing to formally express my deep concern and dissatisfaction regarding the way I have been treated by Ally bank. I entered into an agreement, in good faith, based on terms and representations that were clearly communicated to me at the outset. Unfortunately, those terms were not honored and I believe I was intentionally duped and taken advantage of as a result - classic bait and switch antics. When I attempted to resolve the matter, I made multiple calls and follow up efforts to reach someone who could address my concern. My attempts were met with silence calls were not returned, messages were ignored, and no meaningful engagement has taken place on Allys part, including promises to return calls and then failing to do so. I was feeling cornered, and even went as far as to hire an attorney to express my concerns as shared aboveand again silence from Ally bank. At this point, I not only feel I am being completely disregarded and treated unfairly, and in my view am being bullied by an organization that refuses to acknowledge their error and resolve the issue in a professional fashion. This lack of accountability and transparency is unacceptable, hence why I am sharing this with the public to forewarn others of their poor business practices and shenanigans. I would urge you to stay as far away from this institution as possible unless you want to be mistreated as I have throughout this process. Lastly, I would strongly urge reading the letter from my attorney to Ally bank that reiterates my dilemma in more succinct terms. See below:

      My pay check never arrived in my account despite the payroll team confirming to me that they sent it and that it arrived. Ally Bank customer service repeatedly refused to look into why the transaction never reached my account despite the payroll team who sent the check confirming that it arrived at Ally Bank

      Worst bank I ever dealt with waiting time and everything else down that line communications
