In July, 2019 I ordered a headstone for my husband from Honor Memorials and placed a $2,000 deposit on the stone. Paul Reilly was the salesman and owner was Karen Santovito. I was sent a design to approve and photos of the stone before it was imported. Months went by and the headstone hadn't been delivered. After seeing a news clip about a fraudulent headstone company I contacted Karen again. She assured me she had no connection with that company and promised the stone had arrived and would be reading for installation soon. For over a year I was told excuse after excuse - the base was cut to the wrong size, the engraving was delayed, the family had been in the hospital with the flu. Many of the same excuses I see in other BBB reports. My last contact with Karen was in February, 2020 when she told me the stone would be delivered by the end of the month. She never returned another call or email again. In the summer of 2020 I filed in small claims court but the notice could not be served. The company door had a sign on it that it was closed. This company is fraudulent. Many of the stories here have the exact same excuses and lies. This woman stole money from me and my young children. As if we haven't been through enough, she robbed us. Do not do business with this company.
