      After 52 years of employment and dealing with multiple retirement account administrators, I must say Ascensus ranks as the worst. Our companys 401k with REMOVEDrecently merged with Ascensus. Following a reasonable transition period, I checked my account online and discovered a $100k shortfall in my 457B account. When I called their support line, the representative was unable to explain the missing funds. Shockingly, she suggested that I might have been mistaken about the amount I believed I had. Unbelievable! When I calmly posed another question, she hung up on me. I called back to speak with a supervisor but have yet to hear from Ascensus. My next step is to contact the REMOVED's REMOVEDand file a formal complaint. This behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional.

      If I could do minus zero, I would. My former company uses Acsensus...( HUGE mistake.) I wanted to do a simple rollover of my funds. Not even a big amount. I needed my REMOVEDto go into one institution and my 401 to go to another. These morons sent one check to one institution to my address. We have been back and forth with their incompetent "representatives" who promised to help. NOTHING. 6 months later...still battling. They apparently cannot read, nor comprehend. We requested a letter of indemnity so we could send back the funds to get TWO checks sent to TWO separate institutions. I received many emails asking why the check was returned. They OBVIOUSLY cannot see that both check numbers are duplicate!!! After talking to another "representative" yesterday....I yet received in the mail, the check that we had sent back to them so that they could separate the funds! If they are supposedly experts...how can they not know that you cannot conjoin pre-tax 401K and REMOVED?????

      Ascensus is refusing to transfer my i401k to REMOVED, which they purchased without my consent from REMOVED. I have been waiting months!

      Tried canceling 3 years in a row. Never processed by them. Still billed me. Finally faxed termination and another weird non applicable form. And they charged another $250!!! Horrible company!! REMOVEDcustomer service. I think its a scam Id give 0 stars if I could!!!!!

      These company doesn't deserve to be in business. Unethical, immoral, deliberatley ncompent obstructive and deceptive, all by intent. They refuse to transfer my release my 401ki funds that they purchased from Vangnuard WITHOUT MY CONSENT!. At every step of the way they create another obstacle despite my having done verything properly. I've spent 2 month trying to get my life savings back back to no avail. Why is this even legal?

      The WORST financial services company. DO NOT use this company, it is impossible to get a live human on the phone and there is nothing on their phone menu that pertains to the issue I'm dealing with.I've spent 10 hours so far trying to resolve this and still not resolution. My 401k account is being held hostage, their business practices are criminal.

      Absolutely atrocious customer service system. I had my account locked and spent over 5 hours in a 2 week time span and after talking with multiple representatives and 5 (and counting) calls, I still don't have the situation solved. Whoever is in charge of there customer service system should be fired and reflects the business as a whole. If I could give negative stars, I would give -100.I can't close my account fast enough.

      Six calls later, Im still waiting to speak to a customer rep. REMOVEDthey auto-called back, nobody was on the phone. Then, one rep transferred me to a company in REMOVED. Their call center is one of the worst Ive experienced in a long REMOVEDsorry my two accounts got transferred to them from REMOVED.

      Our retirement plan with my company was terminated in April 2024. On August 7th, we completed the paperwork to rollover to new plan or distribute. Ascensus told us our funds would be available around the end of September. It is Oct 4 and now they are telling us maybe "some point in November". I feel like my money is being held for no reason. Every time I have called I get a different excuse. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - Zero stars

      If I could give them a subpar star I would they don't deserve a one-star rating. My husband's employer sponsored REMOVEDwas taken over for bookkeeping and record keeping from REMOVEDto this company. Problem is he can't access his account for distribution. My husband is 62 he has a right to that money it's his money so he asked for a small distribution eight days ago and he has not heard a peep and no money. This is totally unacceptable behavior the next step if we don't get the money in our bank account will be a lawyer.
