If I could give them a subpar star I would they don't deserve a one-star rating. My husband's employer sponsored *** was taken over for bookkeeping and record keeping from ******** to this company. Problem is he can't access his account for distribution. My husband is 62 he has a right to that money it's his money so he asked for a small distribution eight days ago and he has not heard a peep and no money. This is totally unacceptable behavior the next step if we don't get the money in our bank account will be a lawyer.

So I called my old job and they said it was approved on the 9th. The company keep saying they are waiting on my job to release the 40%. Please dont trust this company with you employees money.

HORRIBLE ***************** It shouldn't take two weeks to make a withdrawal from a company 401k.

As a previous customer of Vanguard, unfortunately, I allowed my solo 401k accounts to transfer to Acensus in advance of the transition. As it turns out, that was a serious error. Here are a few of the items that have occurred in my short time while attempting to gain access to my account. The website has been riddled with bugs. Each account requires separate log-ins now, one finally works, the other hasn't worked after countless attempts and numerous service calls. Each previous call, after not being able to explain why a brand new username and password wouldn't be accepted, with many iterations, resulted in a commitment to a call back. Yet, no call backs have ever occurred. So with each new call, the cycle starts over. The quality of service is abysmal. After resolving to move my accounts elsewhere, I have been unable to do so, as I'm required to access my account to achieve a roll over. I've spent 2 weeks on this so far and have made no progress. I can't make contributions, access information, or rely on them at all. Please avoid at all costs. I'm quite frustrated this is the partner Vanguard selected, they were clearly not ready. On customer service calls, loud static screeches intermittently, to remind you it's an offensive and failing enterprise.

What a horror story! Who runs their IT? Are they professional or a pack of untrained testers from abroad? Communication is broken, I received unsequenced, poorly thought-thru emails without products ready to be executed as instructed. Website design is dismal, not professional, and definitely not respectful of the customers. My disappointment is tremendous! The executives of Vanguard and ******* obviously care only about their bottomlines yet have no pride in their reputation. I did not ask to migrate my retirement plan but was forced to agree or take my business elsewhere. Who do I trust now? Another bunch of crooks and misfits?

The worst company. I moved over 3 months ago and they are giving me the run around just to change my address with them. Its ridiculous! I have made numerous calls and no one there knows what to do! One person says do this or do that but it is still not resolved. mailed them the appropriate documents and form to change my address and then they send a generic email telling me I need to contact their support without leaving any contact information. At this point I feel like just eating the withdrawl fee taxes just to get my money.

refused to liquidate my 401k because food instability is not considered a hardship... but applying to post secondary school is? No one NEEDS to go to post secondary school. Families NEED food on the table. It is my money and I want it made available to me

On Wednesday 4/3, I faxed to ************** a 4 page request to rollover my 401k to PNC Bank. Hearing nothing for one week, I called and was told the form needed their Third Party Administrator signature. FuturePlan. Why Ameritas didn't fax it to them in unknown. Futureplan is THEIR TPA. On 4/10, I faxed the form to Futureplan. Heard nothing for another week. On 4/16 called FuturePlan. They had asked my plan sponsor two questions that had no bearing on the rollover. "I took my RMD for 2024 in January?" So? "The employment dates were off by one or two days?" I was vested for 17 years. Neither question had any relevance to my rollover. Called FuturePlan on 4/24. What is going on. "******" said someone would call me back. Still waiting for that call. Found out the rollover request was in the hands of *************************** at FuturePlan. Called and left message. Still waiting for a return call. Finally on 4/29 talked to *********************** at FuturePlan. She said her manager needed us to submit a "consent of spouse" form. After 26 days, they told me this? Now? On 4/30, signed, got notarized, and faxed the consent form. PNC Bank finally received the check on May 6.Thirty-four days. My account value between April 10 and the account closing on May 2 lost $2097. I am insisting that FuturePlan (or Ameritas who were also complicit in this) reimburse me $2097. Both companies were negligent, uncaring, non-communicative, inefficient, and just plain horrible to deal with. I can understand why FuturePlan has a D-minus BBB rating. ***************************

This is more than poor service, they are not a compliant record keeper and Future Plans is not a compliant TPA. Their incompetence caused a compliance issue requiring a VCP. There is a shell game between Ascensus and Future Plans. They pretend to be separate but owned by the same parent company. Ascensus is non responsive, pretend they don't receive emails that are vital for deadlines to remain compliant as a company. This is more than incompetence, this is a pattern of fraud and non compliance. Should not be allowed by the *** to act as a record keeper or TPA for qualified benefits plans.
