I made a purchase for 219 and and that was fine it was held as pending then items were sent and those were also charged as pending so it looks like I was charged twice. Even though I will not be charged twice they took my available balance so we are not allowed to get gas and if and if anything goes through I will get a negative balance this give me an over draft so it’s pretty much they are charging me twice until it falls off. I called dicks and they said it was the bank and I talked to my bank and it is not them and they also said they have never seen this beforeInitial Complaint

My wife placed an order on 1/21/21 #*********** for 3 bobbleheads but it was put on hold till the item was in stock. Months later on 7/10 they charge us the amount of the 3 bobbleheads 15 times, $43.76X15=$656.40 and practically drain my bank account. I called my bank and they would place an investigation on the charges. I called Dicks but no response after being on hold for a very long time, but later chatted with Marc and promised that IT would work on it and send me an email but we never received an email. Come today we get another charge of $43.76, I had called the bank and told them to please stop any transaction from Dicks’s. I tried calling the corporate office number but I got nowhere with them. I need Dicks to please stop charging me multiple times for an item purchased, I have bills to pay and I can’t pay them all since they have stolen my money from my account without my consent, please help me get a resolutionBusiness response

I ordered a pair of rare shoes on Dicks Sporting Goods website. The website said one pair left to pick up in store. The order went through. On my way to pick up the order was cancelled saying they could no longer fulfill. This was likely due to an employee that decided to take the pair and resell them for a profit on the secondary market. I would like to be able to purchase the pair of shoes I originally purchased. Dick’s sporting goods is awful. I ordered a bike trailer from their website on June 12th, 2021. My order was supposed to arrive on June 21st. I did not receive my package so I called dicks in the June 23rd after still not receiving my package. I asked to have the shipping refunded and the guy told me he would issue it and I would get it within 3-5 business, and that I should receive my package by June 28th. I still never received my package so I called on June 29th to ask for a total refund. I found out that the shipping refund and never been processed like I was told it would be and was told that I would see the whole refund in another 3-5 business days. I called back on July 7th because I still had not received my refund then the supervisor Misty tells me it takes 7 business days to receive, and that I would probably have to call my banking institution and give them some kind of releasing code in order to get my refund.Business response

Been dealing with this issue with the company since February. It’s been months with no resolution and false promises. I order 2 items for pick on feb. With this company , the order number is ***********. The company stated it was picked up and then exchanged , I never went up to pick up the items nor got the chance to. Contacted the store they told me to contact customer service , no one helped at all. Many agents promised a refund was going to be processed , that was a lie as this has not been resolved and it’s been over 4months . A police report was filed and if needed this will be pursued in court as advised by the police as they have saw the proof of the promises made by the company itself if this is not resolved . On July 4, my daughter and I visited coastal grand mall in myrtle beach. We went to dicks and she tried on a pair of Nike sneakers that they had on display. A guy got her a different size and it fit better so we took them to the register to purchase them. The cashier got an alert and called a manager. He said they couldn’t sell us the shoes- that they just helped us try on and displayed on their racks- because they weren’t at their release date yet. We’ll excuse me, but when you display shoes, get a size for a customer and tell them they can purchase at the register, then they’re at their release date. Dicks cares more about their relationship with Nike than about their customers. What the manager should have done is sold me the shoes they displayed. They made the wrong choice. **** ******Dick's is completely avoiding my complaint. There was no Purchase. My complaint was that they displayed shoes, assisted us in sizing shoes , then refused to sell them to us at the register because apparently their contract with mega corporation Nike kept them from selling the shoes until a certain date. They should not have displayed the shoes and they never addressed this issue in their response.

I purchased a pair of Jordan slide sandals order number *********** on 6/28/2021 with a delivery date of 6/30/2021. They sandals were available in a store however we live in a small community a distance from the store and I am disabled which makes it difficult to go to the store and we decided to pay the $6.99 to have it shipped. When I checked the tracking 2 days later the item hadn't been shipped yet. I called UPS for an update and they hadn't been notified by Dick's yet to come pick up this item. I couldn't believe an item that should have been delivered was still in a store or warehouse waiting for someone to notify UPS. I called Dick's and was told she could refund the money and we could pick up in the store. I explained we wanted delivery and she tried to blame it on UPS, said they were waiting on them. Not true. Now delivery shows 6/8/2021 which is 10 days after we paid for this item, 8 days after it was suppose to be delivered.Initial Complaint

Purchased a basketball hoop and installation almost two months ago. A month ago, the company that Dick's uses - Select Express - installed the base and concrete and was supposed to return in 3-5 days to finish. No one ever showed. The company said that the job was finished, but when we explained that it wasn't, they rescheduled. They have no-showed two more times and the project is back to listed as complete. We talked to managers at Dick's Parma and they said that a lot of customers were having the same issue with Select Express. The manager said that he would reach out to get the job done. We were scheduled for this past Sunday to have it installed, but again a no-show. The company said we'd have to reschedule. We contacted Dick's and the manager said he'd get it taken care of and that they were aware of similar reports against Select Express. We were supposed to hear back yesterday and still nothing. No response to emails.Business response

Purchased an Marcy 150lb Stack Home Gym for 419.99 on 05/01/2021 through the online webpage. received confirmation and payment withdrawn from my account that day. Received an expected delivery date email for May 15th 2021. I have worked with customer service via telephone and email and have still not had my package delivered. They have had payment for the merchandise for 60 + days at this point I have not received what I paid for.Business response
