  Re: Power increased the original price of 6,600 to 9,300 on the day of install.
  The explanation was that the original proposal was incorrect due to the type of metal the window casing was, which was actually steel and not aluminum. This was to be the third and final job with this company. I had offered the first assessor for this job the old paperwork saying that I thought it was in fact steel. He didn't bother to look. On the day of the job the installer must have called the company and sent supervisor Joe to the house to tell me that an error was made by the first two assessor's. Joe was quite abrupt and offered no negotiation on the new price in 7,000 dollar range. He was only there to get more money and to sign a new contract. He obviously he didn't even know how much more to the work would be. He refused to work with me at all on what a reasonable solution would look like. The the company sent a new price of 9,300 with no explanation from anybody for the difference of over 2 thousand dollars from verbal to written. I felt that I had no choice to sign because it was the last 2 window's and a door, no one else could replicate the style. I have no issue with the crew chief, the quality of the work or product, other than the clean up was poor. There is still sharp metal, glass and drywall under one window in the back. I haven't heard any follow up from the company since the work was done, which I believe is warranted due to the poor execution of lack of reasonable business decorume. I really don't know if the finale price is fare or not. I didn't have time to research, the crew was already at the house and ready to start. It was either leave the steel in for the first price or a second bad estimate that was thought to be too low by the new contract writer, Brett Goodall.
  Really poor service recovery here and someone taking responsibility for a disorganized multilevel chain of employees. I heard the phrase it wasn't me, nothing I can really do
  twice so far.

  This has been a 6-month long nightmare. The first time they came out, they took all the windows out but they were not able to finish due to the snow and had to come back the next day, leaving the house freezing. When they did finish, they left a huge mess in our yard. It took another month to get the paneling up. That was not even that big of a deal to us. The problem was that they never came and installed the door, so we would not sign the paperwork they sent us saying the project was finished. Despite this, they did what they expressly promised they would not do and gave the go-ahead on the loan for the cost. The contract said we do not start paying on it until the project is finished. When Green Sky started threatening us with late fees we called and explained the situation and were told that it wasn't their concern, Power gave them permission to move forward on the loan and we needed to pay them and take it up with Power. So we're expected to pay a loan they put forward for work they have not done. I'm extremely disappointed and feel this is a breach of their contract. I will not only be using a different company for the rest of my windows and doors but will be telling anyone I know not to use this company. This feels like a scam.

  They make promises and don’t keep them. We started with a sales pitch that lasted until 1:00 am. We explained that the house had multiple layers of insulation and they said the holes would be strip of all layers and they would put only their product on the house. That was not the case. We caught them only striping the house of one layer and putting their product on top. My husband had to stop the work. We explained that we wanted to fix and expand our front porch before they put on the siding. They insisted that they would come back after the stairs get done and repair and replace any siding needed. (After the stairs got fixed in the spring) We got the stairs replaced and called them back and they want to charge us for extra material. We wouldn’t have incurred the extra material if they would have waited for us!!! NI have had neighbors and friends ask me about our experience, I WILL NEVER recommend this company. They make promises they don’t keep and all they want is your money. I am extremely dissatisfied with this company.

  This business practices bait and switch tactics. The two salesmen came out to the house and completed a thorough inspection of the roof both outside and inside the attic before providing a price quote which, after a handshake, they promised would not go up. Several days later when the second representative came out to schedule the work and check out the logistics, he tried to raise the price by $2600 and said they could not perform a portion of the work that the two salesmen had committed to.

  I have been interested in getting windows in my home since water started leaking in the bottom of my sliding glass door, a few would not open, and bugs started coming in. My neighbors were getting windows done so I asked them if they were happy with everything. They loved the company and the product so I called Power Home Remodeling to come give me an estimate. Sabrina, my sales rep, was very professional, patient, showed me everything, and gave me options that fit my budget, so I was confident in moving forward. The communication from the office was great throughout and the installation team of Anderson and his crew were efficient, clean, and the finished product looks great. Highly recommend.
