I want to cancel my subscription involving an email **************************** I got a new email and cant sign in my previous email because of password issues. I am getting charge **** for the past couple of months and was wondering can you cancel my subscription on your behalf. The email that is associated with my subscription once again is ****************************. I dont want to have a to get a new card to stop the purchase. Every month my **** card is charged 10.59 for Mathway. I cannot call the company to cancel, nor can I log into my acccout to cancel. I want my money back.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:I contacted them at support @mathway.com and chatted online to resolve this. They wanted to send me to a sight called just answers for 1.00, fully refundable. I put my information in, and it was rejected by the credit card company. I called my credit card company and they said it was flagged because it was a suspicious site. So I still cant get any answers nor can I talk to a person and try to get this straightened out.

My daughter subscribed to Mathway several years ago with email address ********************* We have tried numerous times to cancel the subscription and continue to be charged $10.83 per month. The only phone number available for the company, which appears on my credit card statement, on their website, and on the BBB site, is a non-working number, which, of course, the company is aware of. When you call, a recording says the number "is no longer in service" and it has been this way for a very long time. It is clearly an improper practice that they still publish this number knowing it is invalid. The only way to cancel on the website is by signing in. However, we no longer know the sign-in information or use the above email. I have emailed the company and have not received a response. I am sending another email today.Business Response

Mathway customer support is always available to provide fast and efficient assistance via email. Mathway support will always reply to emails within 24 hours! Our records indicate our support team provided assistance to you on January 24, 2023 and were quickly able to locate the subscription under a different email address than that which you were using. Mathway subscriptions are associated with the email address used to sign into Mathway at the time of service and in your case you were using the wrong email address which is why you didn't have the options you were seeking. Sorry to hear of the billing concern. Mathway subscriptions can always be canceled through the settings of your Mathway account or by contacting our customer support team! We quickly located your account which was available by signing into Mathway using 'Sign in Using Apple ID' option on the sign-in screen. This subscription has now been canceled and a refund issued for the December and January transactions. My daughter canceled her subscription over 6 months ago and my card continues to be charged every month. She tried downloading the app again to login and RE-cancel the subscription but the app says she has no account so we have sent emails and gotten no response, I just want them to STOP charging me!!!!Business Response

Hello - Mathway customer support can always be reached via email at [email protected]. To date, we have not received any email regarding an account under your name. However, we were quickly able to locate the account/subscription in question based on your name and email address. This subscription was not canceled prior to today which is why it continued to renew and you were charged. Cancellations are easily done through the settings of the Mathway account or by contacting our customer support team via email. The subscription has been canceled and will no longer renew. You will also receive an email from Mathway customer support confirming the cancelation. Please contact Mathway customer support directly for any further assistance.

I graduated college back in June and was using Mathway for help with my calc 1 class. I cancelled it in may and they charged me on December 5th this month for some reason. I cant find any other recent charges in the last 4-5 months. Since I already cancelled my subscription I dont know how else to stop them from charging me.Business Response

Mathway customer support is always able to provide assistance to address any billing concern you may have and subscriptions can always be canceled through the settings of your account to avoid future charges. The subscription under your name was not canceled which is why it renewed. Cancellation and refund have been processed for the transaction and the subscription will no longer renew!
