      My husband and I are trying for a house and the company went through this to get our credit score. We have accounts to the three major credit agency's. This one goes and pulls our score and its 100 points less than what the credit reporting agency's are saying. You system for checking credit is way outdated. And seeing on the complaints and other reviews make me think my credit is good but they don't want the hassle to deal with other people. Gives the red flag that something is suspicious when its 100 points less than what the actual credit reporting agency is saying.

      I was checking my credit score and I see this company name several times and I ****** to see what it is and its some kinda company for a mortgage. I have never done business with this company so why are they running my credit for a mortgage. I have several hard pull inquiries because of this. How can I get this removed?

      I pulled a report and all 5 domains were excellent or above. Lowest score mid "7". This fraud group pulls a score that I can not see apparently and comes up with a score 100 points less! Never had a bad issue on my credit but apparently I don't qualify for the good rates because this company has a made up algorithm that works against the consumer.

      Same as ****** S below ************ did a credit inquiry on my credit card without any reason to do so! They did two hard inquiries this month! So I wonder if someone is stealing my information and using my account fraudulently!       Like everyone else. Who is this scam company? I haven't ever done business with this company yet somehow they appear as a hard inquiry on my credit. I have not applied for anything during the time they showed up on my credit!

      This company is a fraud! I was trying for a home equity loan with Spring EQ. They work directly with Xactus for improving credit scores. Xactus sent me an email instructing which credit cards to pay down and the amounts in order to improve my score quickly. They are in direct contact with Experian. I used every ***** I had saved to pay on 4 credit cards they insisted I do. It came to $2,600. But after a couple of weeks waiting to hear my credit score improved, I found out it went up only 1 point! Now, I have no savings and the 4 cards I paid on as they directed me to do, I still have payments. And I do not qualify for a home equity loan because my credit score only went up 1 point. I am a senior and retired and live on a fixed income. Xactus are supposed to be specialists in financial analysis. If they were honest and upfront and did their job, they should have told me it could not be done instead I spent my savings on nothing.I sent them an email asking for details and waiting for a response. I don't even want to give one star.

      This company did a hard inquiry against me without my permission. I did not give them my information. I have never contacted them before. I have never heard of them before today. I will be finding a way to file a complaint to the credit reporting agencies and if a class action lawsuit comes to fruition I will be joining it; clearly I am not the first person to receive a hard inquiry from them without consent.

      I just saw that this company did a hard inquiry on my account. I did NOT authorize nor did I allow these people to do so. Before doing ANY hard inquiry, I should be told and not take it upon this company or other(s). I am requesting that this be remove from my report immediately. And in the future ask for permission before doing this! It’s my account and not of XACTUS LLC, 600 SAW MILL ROAD, WEST HAVEN, CT, 06516. This new inquiry has appeared on my credit report, which was done on Jan 2, 2024. You have no rights to do an inquiry without my permission and authorization. I really don’t care who you are or who you represent, if you don’t have a writing authorization from me, don’t run another HARD inquiry without calling me (I am sure you have that info).
