  Called and asked about the $93 drain clean out. They happily scheduled me for the next day. Then I asked the customer representative what size cutters they use on their snakes or carry on their trucks. I was transferred to another rep. Who said they couldn’t answer the question. Then assured me the service tech would have the necessary tools. I said ok. They she filed me for tomorrow. Twenty minutes later another service manager called and said they couldn’t follow through with the appointment for three weeks because they have scheduling issues. Customer be where there was no scheduling issue the Pennsylvania Attorney General file suit in 2022 shut device down. The attorney general lawsuit alleged that they had a bait and switch operation. Did they come in tell you they can’t call your drain and then try to sell people on necessary repairs in the tens of thousands of dollars.. the lawsuit and reporting on it specifically said that they use a snake with a 1 inch cutter when most plumbers use 3 inch or larger cutters at the end of the snake.. I was willing to give them a chance because if they could not clear the clog, the service visit would be free. However, apparently when I asked about the snake cutter sizes, this was a tip off that I was on to their scam and they canceled the appointment..   Sunday, no one available except them. Had a clogged sewer line. The tech ran the electric snake then said said it needs water jetting. He changed me $1800 for 20 minutes start to finish basically running a pressure washer hose. Then tried to sell me a liner for $16,000. I could tell he was a con man. Stay away, far away. They will take you to the cleaners.

  Heartless... ***** care less about customer or customer experience... Had appointment scheduled, received a call to advise my appointment was pushed off until the next day. Waited around the whole day only to receive a call back that I my appointment was bumped again, on to Sunday.. Took a call in Sunday to advise I am bumped again until Monday. No care or concern that I have a basement full of sewage and two toddlers in the house. I was bumped because they didn't have available techs or they had emergencies, ummm I'm an emergency and had an appointment since Friday... And the whole time, the coordinator could care less... Awful people that work there ...

  Technician over estimated the work to be done. The cost of the work was substantially higher than the job required. Felt pressured in making a hasty decision because the technician used a tactic to make it appear that there was damage that I needed to take care of replacing everything when it was not necessary.

  Ridiculous Pricing Brought them in to Cap a Gas Line in our Kitchen Honestly a 10 minute Project at most Zero "Material Cost" as they used our "Existing Plug" Charged us $265. Would never use them again It took longer to sit in his truck on laptop creating the "Bid" than to take out a short piece of pipe and Cap the line. Additionally, the plumber tried to walk away with "Shut Off Valve" he removed from the kitchen without asking permission. Just a "Bad Experience overall

  I was without proper heat starting the weekend of 10-7-22. I did not have time to shop around being as my furnace was not heating my house. I called this company to come out and look at my furnace because of their reviews online, but apparently companies can buy good reviews. They had told me why current furnace was not working properly, and continued to add problems to a bill. They had told me that I needed a new water heater because current one was vented illegally. I was also told that I had up too six gas leaks in my existing gas lines, and that they all needed to be replaced. I chose to get a new furnace with ac, but since these people have installed I've been hearing bad things about this company about over charging/price gouging. I was charged over 20,000 for just the furnace an ac. I was told that it should have only cost me around 10,000. I was told I didn’t need to replace my five year old water heater. On 10-13-22 per advice of a landlord I called Columbia gas of Pennsylvania to check for gas leaks. I assumed this was a reputable company an they knew what they were doing. The gas company came in an found three gas leaks. One was from their work on the furnace an it was shut off, the new water heater from their work an it was shut off, and one in my original gas lines. The gas company shut off all gas to my house because the gas company guy told me it was illegal for them to turn on my furnace with gas leaks, but story short they are thieves an liars. I’m reaching out to my attorney to press charges for life endangerment of mine and my mother’s life. I had someone else come in an fix the gas leaks two of which they caused themselves, and the simple fix of the gas line. I will not let them back in my house, and I highly recommend not hire this company.

  GILLECE IS AN UNETHICAL BUSINESS, PERIOD. Stay away! Protect your bank account! This company tries to run the same scam on everyone -- they intentionally misdiagnose, over-estimate, and overcharge. They do quite a believable job of demonstrating to you what's wrong, but it's all fake -- just a show. And they are good at it! Very convincing! They had me believing that my 5-year-old furnace -- a top-of-the-line Carrier two-stage furnace -- had been "fried" as the result of an electrical surge in my home. They quoted me $10K to replace it with an Amana -- which I did not want -- another $5K to put in a new electrical panel and another $4K for other electrical work. Roughly $20K in total, and they wanted 1/3 down (on my credit card) for each estimate. All of their pricing turned out to be horrendously inflated, and replacing the furnace was COMPLETELY UNNECESSARY. Thank goodness I listened to a good friend's warning about Gillece before it went too far. ******** Heating and Cooling -- a highly reputable and trustworthy company -- was able to fix my furnace in less than an hour with no parts necessary for under $200. Mine is just one of possibly hundreds of such accounts with Gillece. Read them on NextDoor and other social media sites, as well as here on BBB. Businesses like this should be shut down -- prohibited from taking another dime from another unsuspecting person. They are a public nuisance. Please take heed and spread the word.

  DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!! They are complete con artists!!!! I dont live in **, my elderly parents do. They charged my parents $1000.00 to swap out a wax ring on one toilet!!!!!! $1000.00 dollars!!! I am a licensed contractor, the *** cost for that job is $450.00 and thats still high. They made them pay $300 before they even started, then another $700 after it was finished. My father questioned the price and then he was bullied by the tech and main office that they where going to *** him and lien the house if he refused to pay!!! They are criminals and need to be put out of business. I would give them 10 negative stars if I was able.
