Western Pacific Roofing installed our 60mil IB Roofing on 3.21.17. We contacted the business on 09.15.23 regarding bubbles and wear spots in our membrane roof. We are concerned these spots may manifest into a crisis. ***** answered our phone call on 09.15.23. She was quick to inform us that the new owners did not assume the liabilities of the previous owners when they purchased the company. She told us that our contract is not valid. ***** claims the new owner is named ****. It is important to note that **** and **** are listed on the Western Pacific Roofing website as owners since 2006 so it's unclear who the real owner is. If ownership has changed and **** and **** no longer own the business then it appears that Western Pacific Roofing is gleaning reputation points from the previous owners. Additionally, as new owners, they have not been transparent with their decision to void all previous contracts. We signed a contract for a 20 year warranty on 03.18.17 (see attachment). The contract was ordered and authorized by Western Pacific Roofing on 03.21.23. (see attachment). Western Pacific Roofing refuses to honor our contract. This is egregious. 1. We have a signed contract for a 20 year warranty with Western Pacific Roofing. We paid an additional cost which is noted on our invoice for a 20 year warranty and the contract was signed in good faith. 2. We have been told the current owner is a long time employee of the previous owner and it is assumed he is well aware that there are contracts like ours who may call him for service. 3. The current owner uses the previous owner's 'years of experience' in marketing material; including their own website. Attached you will find our signed contract and invoice. The sales representative, ****** *****, presented this contract and invoice agreement as a prerequisite to our project commencing. The contract was authorized by Western Pacific Roofing on 3.21.17. As of today no resolution has been attempted by WPR.

SCAMMERS** They charged me $1500 for a service that I paid $384 dollars for a few years ago (and those were emergency rates at the time, during a storm). I assumed the $1500 was because it would be a long, difficult job. But they were complete in under an hour, and still charged the $1500, just to clean out debris under a valley on our tile roof. So they either just feel its ok to increase prices 300% or saw that I live in *********** and charged more because of my zip code. They were unwilling to budge on price. The picture attached is from a few years ago, the latest job had less than half the debris from the previous, so they were in and out very quickly.

            Western Pacific Roofing LLC Response

            01/23/2023

************,First of all, thank you for reaching out and expressing your concerns. Obviously we aren't thrilled about the fact that you are less than satisfied with the service that was provided to you. We always set out to provide our customers with a 5-star experience and we take this very seriously if and when we fall short. The service that we provided for you was detailed out in the contract/service agreement that you agreed to and signed prior to us doing the work. There were not any additional charges on the job. We performed the work and charged exactly what was agreed on prior to any work being done. We do not take a customers zip code, address or location into account when we bid a job. We simply present the number to the customer and they have the choice whether to accept the bid or reject the bid. ************, you accepted the bid and agreed to the price before hand. We carried out our commitment to that bid. We are very sorry that you feel like you got charged more than what you felt was fair. If you feel you need to discuss this further please feel free to reach out to me. ********************* General manager Western Pacific Roofing ************

I was mislead by your sales person into thinking the job was bigger than what it was - the mistake was mine. But I guess I am confused as to why the price skyrocketed from the $384 that I paid before for the same job (emergency hourly rates, mind you) to $1500. That has not been explained to me yet. And I am also confused as to why you would post your number and ask me to call you publicly when you could call me personally? I have spoken with two people at your office to let them know my displeasure with your service, so your office knew I called. Maybe they did not communicate that to you? But in any event, you could have seen my post here, then call me. Not sure why you are asking me to call you publicly.
