1 starLithia motors DMS accounting department failed to issue a refund for a canceled service contract to the correct place. This was after the fact in filling out all the information correctly of which, they told me if I failed to put the correct information, it would not be processed! I filled it out right but they got their info wrong! No thanks to them and the affiliate business under the name of ****** who also gave me the run around since November!Review fromVinnie G

1 starI recently had an accident where my vehicle was totaled & I had broken 2 of my ribs. 2 weeks after the accident I came in & financed a ***** civic hatchback 2023 EX- L. I had explained the situation to my sales person *************************, who was also my sales person for a prior vehicle which I co-signed & financed for my wife. This was also my 3rd Vehicle with ********* in ******* **. One of things I mentioned to ************************* was to give me a good deal that I didn't want to finance the vehicle way over the ******** also spoke about the 3.9 APR & 4.9 APR that is advertised for new vehicle for someone that has really great credit score. After he came to me with a number which I wasnt happy with that I wont state hear as Im embarrassed. After going back and fourth with the sales person & financial manager I ended up signing the contract with a **** ********* down which taxes added up to about $8K with ******** ***** Finance. After going back and taking a look at the contract I felt like I was taking advantage of as I didnt have my head straight because I was on heavy pain medication & looking back at the $4K I had put down the numbers dont add up of how much the vehicle came out to it was like they pocketed the money. Realizing my mistake this late from this point on I will not purchased a ***** ever again these people dont care about you. It doesnt matter if youre a first time customer or a customer thats loyal and have made business before with them. They do not care and will take advantage of you please dont buy ***** or if you do dont do business with this location.Review fromMelissa K

1 starI sent Driveway $500 electronically on 03/04/23 to hold a specific vehicle and process my financing application. I was approved for financing. A Driveway rep called me on 03/06/23 to advise the vehicle had been sold off the lot. I immediately told her I wanted my $500 back; she acknowledged understanding. Since then, I have emailed, texted and live-chatted Driveway in an effort to get my $500 back. Nothing. My next step is litigation.Review fromJulia K

1 starwent through driveway.com to purchase a vehicle. The communication is very disjointed - too many different parties involved, not streamlined. I've bought a car online before through carvana but through driveway, not everything was online. I had paperwork fedexed to me and that was delayed. I had to notorize some paperwork for Virginia and return. The driveway.com site wasn't updatd on the status of the delivery of my car. It took at least 3 weeks to get. There was a problem with the car after delivery (same day). I contacted them right away & wanted the car picked back up. The sunroof wouldn't close & I had a tarp over it. They said that I had to accept delivery since I possessed the car now but service would call in ***** hrs. They didn't. I made clear to the delivery coordinator that I had 7 day warranty and didn't want vehicle. I couldn't get anyone to respond to me, no service calls. They asked for pictures of the sunroof but the text number they gave didn't accept the pics. Finally, they asked for me to get an estimate on the sunroof. The appointment was after the 7 days; now they say it's been 7 days and warranty over, if I return it, it will cost me $1000. Even before I had the car, the loan went through and was already set up to pay. There were too many different people involved all telling me different things. I haven't gotten any tags or dmv info either. NEVER AGAIN. They shouldn't be in business.Review fromMegan L

1 starDo not do business with this company!!! If there was negative stars, that would still be too generous. Between the finance company and Driveway/Lithia Motors I have had the absolute worst car buying experience. It took a month to get the vehicle I had purchased. Unfortunately, I was in a car accident and the vehicle was declared a total loss. This is where is gets really awful. Apparently, the Lithia dealership never sent the title for processing and I was told since I chose to buy out of state that is just how it was. That makes no sense and is a terrible way to do business. The vehicle was declared a total loss in December and I am still waiting to resolve this issue. In addition, Driveway finance is still requiring me to make the payments on the totaled vehicle. When I try and ask about it the representative is very rude and just gives the same canned answer about not being able to do anything until they got the title. When I ask about the process, I am told they are working on it. The representative said to me "well if I was able to get back to my work, we could be closer to getting it done." I asked to speak to a supervisor and was hung up on. I cannot believe this is how this place does business. Listen to the reviews and save yourself the grief.Review fromKatie E.

1 starAbsolutely the worst *************** department. I brought my jeep in multiple times for the SAME issue they said they had fixed the first time. They did not. Each time they wanted to charger me the diagnostic fee. They gave me a quote for about **** for repairs. I decided to wait but told them I should not have to pay another $185 diagnostic fee when they told me it was fixed the first time I brought it in. They told me they wouldnt give me keys until I paid and they had every right to charge. Long story short after the disagreement and absolute rudest customer service staff *** ever encountered, the manager told me I was fired from coming back in there. How In the world do you refuse a paying customer service is beyond me. I asked to speak to the ** and he informed me he wasnt in the shop today and that I could leave him 50 voicemails and he would never answer my calls and he would have the service manager, *****, tell me the same thing every time that he has every right to refuse service to me. He also told me the reviews do not matter to them. This shows a lot about how they care about their community in **** and actually serving customers. Another sales manager called me to squash and sort it all out and to get a better understanding of the situation. NEVER in my life have I been banned from a store or any business. They are a publicly owned company. It really blows my mind that they dont care about their customers. The sales manager spoke with the service manager on how we could get my jeep fixed and interestingly the quote came back almost doubled this time around at $4900. Same service needed. I even have the original print out quote they gave me the first time around at $****. Just goes to show they are not honest. But hey they dont care about reviews or s******* over customers. Ive owned 5 jeeps. I contemplated buying a brand new one but after this ordeal I would never purchase from Lithia. I highly recommend you search elsewhere.Review fromJanette H

1 star5 months later & no memorandum title. They will send me temporary tags but I have to request them & then they're not fast to send them. I've had to drive my car with illegal plates because of this. I would not recommend anyone buy from this company.Review fromGeorge D

1 starLithia/Driveway has given me the worst car buying experience I ever had. Put money down about a month ago and still no SUV. Not only no SUV, no one can tell me where it is! 15k miles and it had to go for "service", no one can tell what's being serviced, where its being serviced? Nothing, my sales rep is being given the runaround also, he can find nothing out for me. Stay away!Review fromRita M.

1 starD-E-C-E-P-T-I-O-N!DO NOT SPEND YOUR TIME AND MONEY AT *****************, **********************************************? First is DECEPTION. Deceptive in what they quote and the agreed-to (theirs and yours) monthly rate. Despite that quote and agreement on the affordable monthly rate, within weeks, I was blind-sided to learn my monthly rate due was higher than I agreed to and unable to afford. I immediately approached ***, the F/I manager, about it. He was snide and dismissive. Insulted me with minor offers for remedy vs acknowledging and correcting the deceptive act.Second, had originally asked for copy of contract that I signed, before leaving lot in the Jeep, but was told will get 'a copy' in the mail. So, was never shown ANY documentation of transactions. Asked him about the copy a few days later. He presented with same snide and dismissive attitude, saying it's to come in the mail.Third, the vehicle started presenting issues within 1-3 days! Though supposedly a 'certified inspected' car, it had to be towed in for repair, because the thermostat was blown. So much for 'certification', right? That's not all. Have been locked out, unable to get in the car, more than 3x already, because the key fob won't register. Have had to do flips and turns to make the car and fob connect.Last, but not least, once this dealership gets your money/business, their attitude changes (specifically the F/I manager, ***). By the way, at BBBs website, it's noted that this dealership, ***************** (Lithia Motors is owner) is not BBB accredited. Hmmm, wander why? Well, is certainly a way to prevent official remedy actions with the consumers and businesses through the BBB. DO NOT give your business to ***************** ******************************************. Seek another dealership, for your wallet's sake and plain ole human dignity.
