We booked back in December 2023 a VRBO for my familys very first vacation together for my moms 70th birthday in July ****. We got a text message 3 weeks later from Itrip NW that they must cancel or move your booking as this home is no longer able to be rented at this time. We could rebook for the same days but DOUBLE the price per night. 3 different families got together to book this place in a single night. We were so excited knowing we had it booked and done! We were very disappointed. I talked with *** from ItripNW and she told me that the owners had repairs and wanted the house the days we booked. Hours later the dates we booked were finally blocked out on the itrip website assuming so the owners can do their repairs which happens to be during their busiest time of year. Fast forward to 3 days later, our days were once again available??but for DOUBLE the price we originally paid. I truly think itripnw screwed up on their pricing and once they realized their mistake they canceled our reservation and jacked up the prices by DOUBLE in hopes that we would rebook. Im actually thankful we had this terrible experience with them because we clearly would never want to support a company who operates this was. Its not ethical and I think others should be aware. If you do your research youll see this is not an isolated incident.
