  This company is taking advantage of vulnerable people. I was desperately in need of a consultation and came across this company. I signed up for an account through their app and agreed to the service charge. Once account was created I was able to log in but unable to retrieve any membership access. I was not sent a code or any form of communications on what to do after. As a month has passed by they are still charging my account with no membership access or card info under my profile or account. Now I have to call them to find out what is wrong deal with the apparently rude customer service. What a scam!

  I was mistreated an called a liar from there lawyer. After 5 days I canceled my 44$ membership.Im so tired of these big companies taking from the little man. Now they say 15 days to review. But I was mistreated twice by them. Im so upset if these companies taking our money and not producing fair exchange. Im my book they are taking money for nothing. Why would I give you money to be mistreated.They are not right this is not fair. Everyone should have a grace ****** especially since you dont actually talk to their lawyers right away. They stick together so us underdogs have to also. Everyone deserves a grace ******. 44 $ to be mistreated no no we wont except stop patronizing these people.Its scams. They dont take time to find lawyers that care. Thanks

  A member of LegalShield since 2018 before now. LegalShield could not represent me for a covered service. In May, 2022 was not able to represent me in a real estate closing need when informed. LegalShield stated, we do not do that, but called me after 2weeks that I have hired a different law firm attorney, and said call us back for your case. In November, 2022, again, I asked for help with documents review, LegalShield did not provide help needed. They could not provide feedback on the documents reviewed, supposedly. They told me to wait for a week that the attorney who understands the case is unavailable. I waited and called again after one week just for feedback on the documents review. They told me to call back again after 1 week that the attorney is unavailable. I requested for another LegalShield attorney available, but they could not provide any. I reported to LegalShield member services only to be told that I have unused paid 300 hours of court room legal defense time and 600hours of consultation/review of documents. Hours and time that I could never use when needed, but only recited into my ears. I requested for some kind of compensation for the unused time for non-representation when needed even though it was a prepaid service. They responded with we cannot refund you. What is the PURPOSE OF THIS SERVICE if help is not provided. Who benefits for this service?

  The most frustrating company ever! I called them a few years ago for some legal help, but the attorneys assigned to me did not offer me a discounted/affordable rate. Apparently I have over 300 hours of time saved up for a defense attorney, but I have yet to be able to use them. I ended up having to hire an attorney not associated with this group because this group was useless. In January ************************************************** writing and see the details. They send an automatic reply when they receive the email. No one ever answers the email!!!! I called customer service today to request a mailed copy to my house and an email copy of my benefits, and the lady on the phone said it takes up to 2 hours to send the file. I wanted her to send it while I was one the phone with her, but she said it would take 2 hours. So strange! I have contacted my bank to get Legalshield to stop taking money out of my checking account. I will continue to call customer service at *************************** to cancel my account entirely. They keep trying to get me to stay but won't even answer my email. What would happen if I actually needed to use their legal services? DO NOT SIGN UP FOR LEGALSHEILD UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AND GET VERY FRUSTRATED.

  Been a member for over 11 years and I have called them over 140 times. The service has paid for itself literally for ***** years based on what I have saved. I have used it for warranty issues, custody, subcontractor agreements , document review, 24/7 access when the police have been questionning my kiddo. This service is all about using it. Watch the information and use the service accordingly. It works great. Don't let an agent accidently oversell you. Just look at the info provided by their home office and you will be good. I originally used it for security deposit challenge. They got me my $500 bucks back so fast and I didn't have to pay a dime outside of coverage. I ended up working with them because I loved the service. Fast forward 11 years and this is my main gig. The residual income is real and some of my clients are still members after 11 years. I highly recommend.

  This is a trash company and I’ve unsubscribed to their mailing lists over and over. I’m on the DNC registry… and still I get spam from them. They are a deceptive and pointless organization in my opinion.

  There are some use cases for the service especially if you are poor, ignorant and unwilling/unable to do research online. However, the pyramid-based, revival-style garbage I saw to push this service from within left me extremely wary. I was also counseled by a shady agent who allegedly took me under his wing, I mean pyramid, to mentor me. Ultimately my poor mother kept paying long after I left with not a ***** appearing for commission for me despite being advised to the contrary. Instead he got month after month of commission until I advised her to please cancel. I had to get even more people under my own pyramid in order to start receiving commissions of any kind. Im glad I did I didnt sell memberships to my so-called friends. Looking back Im glad I ditched them as well.The keynote speaker at our big presentation stated his wife was cut in half by a boat in the tropics and bleeding out and that the service got him English help ASAP. Balance that with the fact that I hear of many people being laughed out of legal offices that wont accept it, and I would not recommend this in an emergency. Maybe learning the local 911 number and the local language might be more help. Maybe using trustable online resources might be cheaper too. The pay structure that I saw really didnt leave that much for company maintenance. Part of the business model was that legal issues are not that common in a persons life, and a corresponding service is rarely used on average.At the time, the original founder was forced to sell his company due to age. From there, it was simply gutted and run by glad-handers and people with only echoes of the owners very noble original intent. It is my hope this company will smother under its own Glengarry ***************** ethos.

  I have been a LegalShield member for 5 years. I have received zero assistance whatsoever for how to use the services available through LegalShield and I've never benefited from being a member, so I decided to cancel since the current economy is forcing us all to tighten up spending. Who knows how much I have paid for this service with no benefit to me at all. I called today to cancel my service and the representative was rude and unhelpful, and not only that, they required me to send written notice in addition to calling into their support line. I've never experienced anything like for a simple cancellation. It's unnecessarily difficult. After speaking to the grumpy rep, I was redirected to an automated line that says that it is MY responsibility to check back with them and make sure my written notice of cancellation is received and processed. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I do not recommend this product to anyone. Stay away.

  The associate that sold me my plan was very clear on what the service is, and what it is not. Because of that, I have been able to maximize the membership and realize that it doesnt cover everything for the minimal monthly fee. The law firm filed my LLC and had it back to me within three business days, they have answered my questions related to business, they sent demand letters to customers that I couldnt get to pay (which was very effective), they have reviewed my business contracts and assisted me with portions I should be concerned about, they have guided me with HR issues, they have written letters on my behalf for various issues and have always called me back in a timely manner. I am very familiar with the legal process and with working with attorneys. Because of this, I understand the tremendous value this service is for any business owner. If I had to pay legal fees for every question, letter written, contract reviewed, ect I would have paid several thousand dollars by now. I have utilized my membership in several states and have been very pleased with the service I have received.
